I am looking forward to “Project Superstar” final tomorrow, but too bad I can’t watch the show “live” on TV. I will be asking my brother & my mum to vote for my favourite contestant, who is Kelvin Tan. I feel that he is very good, despite his blindness. He can sing very well. In fact, I feel that he is better than Kelly. He has a very good voice. I wanted to buy his CD, but couldn’t find the time to go to the CD Shop to get hold of it. I heard his song  at  Jason’s house last Saturday. His ‘Tong Hua’ is really not bad. It is just like Guang Liang original version. I really hope he wins this competition, to show us that people with disability can succeed no matter how the odds are stacked against us. Although I know that Kelly’s supporters may be saying that Kelvin will have won by sympathy votes. I really feel that he will deserve the title of ‘ Superstar’. My favourite radio station, YES 933FM will be going through a programme revamp with effect from 5 September 2005 (Monday). I h

I have tried to use MS Word to publish some pictures/photos to my blog. Unfortunately it does not seem to work. It seems that this method is only suitable for pure word publishing. For publishing of pictures, I have to go back to the site to do it. Haiz….(

I have successfully managed to use Microsoft Word to publish my blog. This is good. It means that next time I do not even need to go to the website to do my postings. Inserting of pictures, I guess will no longer be a hassle. Just in case if you guys are wondering where I got the software from, its actually available on the blogspot site itself. This means that I have not lost my PC knowledge. (

I am now on MC, resting at home for my sore throat. At the same time, I am listening to JJ Lin Junjie’s album that I have bought on National Day. Kind of like the song “ 木乃伊 ”, something like a Indian song. I am also trying the new Blogger feature, using Microsoft Word to publish my posts. I wonder if this would work. If it doesn’t, I will just uninstall it, to save my hard disk space. Going to knock out soon, maybe come back later. Zzzzzzzzzzz.

This morning, I went to Jason's house to install Microsoft Office 2003 software for him, add the chinese language function in Windows XP & pass him the Joi Chua's CD for burning into his MP3 player. He was quite surprised that the installation was so simple. Short & sweet. After settling all these stuff, we went to Sakura at Northpoint for lunch. The service was terrible. We were very shocked that the floor manager was so proud & was a snob. She actually discussed staff leave plans in front of us. The way she treat her staff was very snobbish. She demanded that her staff to take this day & that day for off or leave. Her attitude really sux. Now I know why PM Lee wants us to improve our service standards.

Yesterday was ACCA Exam Results Day, & my handphone had been beeping non-stop with the sms tones since early afternoon. My friends had started to ask me about my results. The fortunate thing is I have requested the results to be e-mailed to my singnet a/c, so that in a way, I won't feel distracted by my work if I happened to fail. Haha & how true it was. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the friends & my cousin who has told me not to give up ACCA, as I have managed to come this far, clearing 4 papers in 1.5 years, despite the fact that ACCA is very tough. They are, Caifeng, Huiyu, Stella, Jason, Yvonne, Rebecca & Jaslyn. I feel really touched by it. Be rest assured that I will be doing my best again. But as you know, Financal Management of ACCA has the lowest pass rate among all the ACCA papers. The paper is really tough!!!! I was feeling quite fustrated today. Firstly, my lady boss nearly disallowed my transport claim for the one I took for my course that day. But after much delibration, she allowed anyway. I was thinking, I had contributed so much to the company during my stay. I am not trying to boast what I am doing here. To imagine the time when I went in, I had absolutely no idea what was going on. I had to rely on my judgement & past expriences at my former work place. Till today, I am still very grateful to that manager who had given me good grounding. I have started my hunt for a new job. Secondly, for those people who are interested to know my results, I passed my financal reprting paper but failed my financial management paper again. Not sure if I want to take this December. My confidence is at a all time low. Wonder when I can pick myself up again.:(

I was on course with that woman that stabbed me in the back & my other colleague at IRAS yesterday. The course was about the new IRAS e-filing system for companies with effect from 1 Sep 2005. The presentation was quite boring as the presenters were basically reading from the powerpoint slides. Their tone was quite monotonous, so you guys can imagine what I nearly did. I nearly fell asleep. The system was quite complex as well, especially for the tax agents. It looks like there is going to be more work for me & most likely more overtime for me. I am feeling really stressed. Haiz:( I bet the system will have its intital teething problems for the 1st 6 months. I received two shocking smses today. The first one was from Rebecca. She said that she broke down & cried when she was conducting her class. She said that the problem child in her class was giving her loads of problem, she just broke down like that. I guessed I was right all along about her, she can be emotional sometimes. Hope she would not kill me when she reads this. Just remember that you still have me to turn to when you need someone to talk to, you can look for me. The second sms was even more shocking as Jason told me that he has resigned from his job again. This is not the first time he has quit after working a short time. From what I heard from him, his company wanted to implement a new Inventory Trackin. system for quite some time already, but due to some techincal problems, the new system had been shelved till last week. Was out with Jason yesterday. We went to Cafe Cartel at Junction 8. We were quite surprised by the portion of the main course being served. It was like the ones that we will have from Fish & Co. I told Jason that fortunately both of us had light lunches, otherwise we won't be able to finish the food. He had changed his handphone again, this time to the Samsung E720. From what I heard from him, It is actually a gift from his cousins for his birthday. Its just so sweet of them. In case you guys wondering what is the phone like, its quite similar to the one I publicised in my blog, E730. I also checked with him about when he wants to hold his birthday dinner, which was supposed to be today, but due to work commitments, he had to postpone it. He told me he is still unsure as he is not sure how his new system at the new workplace can withstand the testing. Yesterday was pretty bad, as nobody was out with me. In the end, I went shopping alone at Hougang Mall. I managed to get hold of JJ's 89757 & Joi Cai Chun Jia latest album, 有一天我会. I must say Joi's singing has improved a lot. Many songs are in there are already seen & heard on TV, like the TV Theme song of "梦在手里", the duet with Ou De Yang, "小夫妻" & the NDP song "非常特别的你". We must support our local singers.

Although I have taken a 4 day break (Today is the last day), I can't seem to feel recharged or energised. Wonder why? Maybe my parents went to Malaysia & I had to stand guard for them my brother. Sometimes, I feel that he should be old enough to know how to take care of himself. ( He is 17 & taking his O Levels this year). Have told my mum that I will going out today, most likely after lunch, to enjoy the last day of my break. I may just skip the NDP telecast on TV. I need some recharge of energy before I can face the politics at my office tomorrow. Haiz

I wonder why Starhub's customer service is so lousy. My SCV setup box was out of order & in order to ask the technician to come down to service the equipment, I had to fork out $60 for the transport charges. Upon thinking about it, I decide to bring the box to Starhub myself. Took a cab to Orchard Kiliney Road Starhub Service Centre. My brother & I saw the sign that replacement of setup box sign outside the service centre. When we asked the customer service officer, he said that replacement can only be done at Starhub HQ at Ayer Rajah Tech Park. I was so angry. Nearly screwed the officer there & then. I was seething with anger as if not for that Chinaman( my ex- tenant) who wanted the SCV, I would not have signed up on my mum's urging. Now that he has left my house, he left me with a load of contracts, which I do not need. Time really flies. National Day is around already. 4 more months to the end of the year. What have I accomplished so far this year? Hmmm.... need to give it some thought. Was listening to YES 933 in the morning(was not working, on leave today). The DJs were asking for views about which National Day songs were amongst our favourites from 1998 to 2005. I personally enjoyed the 1998 song, "Home" by Kit Chan & 2002 song " We Will Get There" by Stefanie Sun Yanzi. The results of the poll echoed my sentiments, with 2001 song, Tanya Chua's "Where We Belong" coming in 3rd. I personally feel that the 2005 song " Reach out for the Stars" by Talfuik & Rui En was badly done. I think it does not have the Singapore "feel" in there. What do you think?

I wonder why Rebecca has been avoiding me? She has not been picking up my calls since saturday. I could sense that she is still angry in her sms to me, " You don't need to explain things to a kid." Hmmm I just wonder maybe I make that comment that she was playing a kid's game that hit a raw nerve of her. If it is , well have to say I am really sorry about it. I just want to let her know that I meant to lighten up our conversation. I didn't know it had a big effect on her. I just hope to continue as friends with her. As for the others, let fate decide.

I just can't imagine my feelings & mind are changing faster & faster. Even by the minutes. Am I feeling too stressed or what? I have actually told Rebecca that I am interested in her, just after one meeting, several times already. Strange, my heart becoming cold-blooded? I hope not. I have told her that I will give her more time before she feels comfortable with me. Dunno what she will think? I know that its a bit fast on my part but I guessed my feelings just overwhelmed me. Dunno what to do?
