Finally reached the end of the crash course of Financial Management with Mr Sami. Yesterday, he went all the way from 6.45pm -10.15pm. I must say that he is really good lecturer, really well prepared for his lessons. I guessed the rest is up to me & the examiner already. Haha!!! I reached home at about 11pm. After my bath & unpacking, my head hit the pillows at 12mn. I was late for work today. I guessed I was too tired after 4 continuous days of lessons. I was being chided by a colleague, L for being late. I was thinking, its not of your business to scold me for being late. My boss is aware that I am having lessons & I did inforn him that I may be in a wee bit late as the lessons could be long. My day was perked up by my fellow course mate, Cindy, DJ & Krys. I was not aware that DJ was back in Singapore till Krys told me. DJ was a little surprised that I asked her friend, Krys along. The reason I guess, I haven't met her before. I think my birthday bash this round may just be the biggest that I ever hosted at my own expense as 2 of my new net friends plan to join in, which makes it a count of 12. My brother also said he wanted to join me, as he feels bored, sitting at home waiting for his O Level results. I have been trying to find a job for him, but to date, I have heard nothing. Maybe the market is bad. Thanks to Mag & Krys, I try to make you guys feel comfortable that day of the bash.

Today, I was up early for my Paper 2.4 lesson with my favourite FTC lecturer, Mr Saminathan. It was the start of a hectic 4 days of lesson for me, starting from today, 10am -5pm. His lessons are always interesting, but his break is always short, 5 mins only. I am lucky that I am a guy. If I were a gal, I would always have to queue for my toilet break! In my haste today, I forgot to bring foolscap paper to copy notes. I had to pinch some from 2 ladies sitting around me. Fortunately, I managed to get my brother to come down to FTC to pass me the foolscap for the second half of the 6.5 hr lesson during lunch. It was defintely the fastest lunch I had at Pizza Hut. A record half an hour with my brother. I was so worried that I could not get back to class to start the lesson again. He actually extended his lesson to 5.30pm. Was so shagged after that, so took the bus instead of the MRT as I could sleep. Tomorrow is another 7 hr day. Sianz

I think I know why the cleaner did not clean my work area on Wed. Inititally, she wanted to borrow $10 from me. Usually, I would lend her what she wanted, but unfortunately that day, I had less than that amount in my wallet, so I told her I didn't have enough cash to lend her. I feel that if that is the reason, why she left my work area as a pig sty, I feel that it is too much. I really did not have enough money that day, but I do not see the need of you being so vengeful, by not sweeping my area & clearing my rubbish. Or perhaps, you were not happy that the Audit Manager was rushing you. We did tell you about our working hours. We end at 5.30pm. You can't expect the Audit Manager or me just to stay behind to wait for you to come & clean our office everyday. Our fellow colleagues have to leave on the dot, as they have families to look after. I am currently in office now, still waiting for the cleaner to do finish her cleanup of the office. The Audit manager has asked me to stay behind as he is representing the firm to go for K's dad-in law funeral wake. I was pretty angry as I stepped into the office today as I found that the cleaner did not clear my rubbish or swept my area. It was so dirty, like a pig sty. In the end, I had to roll up my sleeves & do it myself. I wonder if I should tell my boss about this. But out of sympathy for the cleaner (her husband had a stroke & is bedridden), I have decided against it as I feel that it is already hard for her to earn a living, & knowing my boss, she will take the necessary discplinary action against the cleaner. I hope that I won't have to see the sight of a dirty work area again!!!

I received news today that one of my colleagues, who is also one of my lunch partners lost her father-in law to a sudden fall. I contributed a token sum as 白金. But I was quite stunned by one of my colleagues, Q about what she said. Q had known this colleague of mine, K, from their previous company. This means that they have known each other for a long time. Q said, " the person who passed away is K's father in law, & not her immediate family member. My group of colleagues, including myself were stunned. Flashback to two incidents, where I felt that K really went through great lengths to help Q during Q's brother sudden death due to cancer & the time when Q had a bad fall that caused her to be on crutches for about 3 months. K actually comforted Q during the breavement period & helped her buy food, boil water & sometimes hail a cab for her. Now, K needs Q's support, Q just cast aside K by saying "the person who passed away is K's father in law,

I just went through the Singapore Pools website to check the Toto results. My investment is gone, Yeah, the $2.8m dream gone. I was quite pissed off with the self-declared manager. The b*** said I locked my boss out of the office when she was in the washroom. I was not even aware that my boss would be around during lunch time, so I accidentally locked my boss out. It was such a small thing, yet the b*** made such a big hoo-ha over it. Damn pissed.*****points middle finger******

I met up with Richard & Huiyu today for a lunch cum meet up session at Plaza Parkroyal Hotel. Although this is not the 1st time I been there, I still enjoy the good food there. It was a good chance that Richard wanted to meet up with us. We wanted to help him to forget about Irene, his ex-girlfriend. It was really a heart to heart talk session with Richard as we really aired our views about what we felt he should do. We hope he can take our advice & get on with his life. At Huiyu's request, I have invited him for my birthday. I hope SR don't kill me for this. Richard had said something about SR, which I don't think I can disclose it here. for fear that she can kill me for this. I am not sure if he is coming or not as he does not like KTV & crowds. After the heavy lunch, which they enjoyed very much, we went to walk at Bugis before heading our seperate ways.

I went to collect my free gift, the IPOD Nano at FTMS Centre with Jason yesterday. Just managed to install the IPOD software. I just find that those people at Apple are smart. They used FTMS staff to do the collection admin work for them. Some of you will know that FTMS is a specialist school for ACCA students as well. After the collection, we went to Best Denki, as he was planning to change his notebook PC. You guys must be wondering how come he has the cash when he is not working. He is paying by instalments with the hope of finding a job soon. But seriously, if I were him, I would actually wait for my job to be stable before I do anything of this big expenditure nature.

I was supposed to go to Apple to collect my IPod Nano today, but I didn't know that they will be closing at 7pm. Since I was late for work today, I was sure that I was not able to make it there on time. I thank my buddy, Jason, for sharing with me this piece of info. In fact, I was supposed to join him to collect the IPod, as he signed up for the plan too. I am looking forward to my new IPod Nano tomorrow. I called up one of my friends, who did not pick up my calls yesterday. I knew that something was amiss when she picked up my call today. This week, I received a lot of questions about love from my friends. I was thinking one of the best things being single is there is no need to worry about such questions, but without BGR, life can be boring, especially when your friends around you are slowly joining the "Attached" Club. I am not against BGR. But I always believe that BGR has a lot of ingredients & factors to make it taste good & nice or can be bad & nasty. The few things that I feel that is important in a relationship are :- Communication Care & concern Sense of responsibility It does not matter whether your partner is older or younger than you, as I feel that age is just a number. Always remember not to compare your partner with your ex-es or other people as different people are unique. If a relationship does not work out, do not brood over it, take it as a lesson & move on. I wanted to go to Sim Lim Square today to get the battery for my house's alarm system but the heavy downpour thawarted my plans & I had to come home in a cab as the rain was too heavy. It turned out to be good, as I managed to carry home the calendar planner that my client had given to me. But I do not think I will be using it, as a planner takes up a lot of space & I do not usually plan my days too far ahead. I should be giving the planner to SR, as I feel that she needs the planner more I do. A teacher needs a planner, as she has too many activities to remember. Haha.

I was reading through today Straits Times & came across an interesting feature about Pioneers Singapore Arts Scene, Mdm Goh Lay Kuan & the late Mr Kuo Pao Kun. Although this is not the first time I have heard them sharing their experiences in the art scene & their lives, as my parents know the couple & children well. It is always interesting to see or her experiences on radio programmes & newspaper articles. I am always personally impressed by the contributions that they have made to the Singapore Arts Scene & their strong personalities. I would recommend all of you to read that article.

I went to HMV today & met up with another 1 of my long-time net friend, Angela. I knew her since she was in poly. Now she is happily working & attached. My mum is nagging again. This time about the ACCA Paper 2.4 again. She said that if I cannot clear my Paper 2.4 this round, I will have to do my own paying for the paper. Like I said before, if she really pull the plug off my studies, I have to bid goodbye to ACCA as the course fee & exam fee for each subject is getting too much for me to bear. Next year, the course fee alone is $550 for each subject, each paper is about $170. This does not include the subscription fees that I am paying to ICPAS & ACCA UK of about close to $300 each year. My dad just found a new job not too long ago. As part of the family, I have to bite the bullet with him, so I usually help out with some of the expenses when the family is in need. Yesterday was the final lesson for my Audit & Internal Review paper. It was also the 1st time I saw Richard after his break-off with Irene. I could sense that he is still very upset about the break up. I told him that with Irene's attitude towards him in the last year of the relationship, It is atrocious to think that they are a couple. I got a surprise from Darling jie & Sis Rebecca today. Darling said that she won't be able to make it on 12 Nov for the planned KTV session. She suggested that I go with Sis Rebecca only, but SR say she don't want lei. She say wait till DJ is free then meet. After a phone call with DJ about when to meet, we finally decided to meet on 17 Dec, the day I will be having celebration with my friends. I am very happy that my poly buddy, Richard that he has finally managed to split with his girlfriend of four years. I went to watch this play 'Modern Dance for Beginners' with a new net friend, Mac. I was quite surprised she asked me out quite suddenly to watch this play with her on Thursday, because since I have known her, she seemed to be quite a 'cold' person, quite hard to get along with. She was late for about an hour for our appointment. As we were running late for the play, we took a cab from Clarke Quay to DBS Art Centre at Robertson Quay. I went to the Hello @ Orchard to get my Singnet Recontract done. It has been very fustrating that I just can't get to the Recontract webby for the past three days. I told the Singnet people that I was only able to load half the page, without being able to look at the offers, therefore, how could I be able to sign up? Luckily, I was able to get it done at Hello @ Orchard. After that, I accompanied Jason to the Sony Ericcson Service Centre to replace his K750I cover. It was only a recent purchase & the cover is already loose. I wonder what's with the quality control of the making of the handphone. One more thing to add, the queue at the centre was so long. I tried to sign up for the Singnet Broadband 1.5Mbps Recontract Plan since last nite. I seem to have problems assessing the site at www.singnet.com.sg/recontract . I didn't manage to see the offers on the pages. After trying for the whole of today & yesterday nite, I have given up trying to sign up again. I will be going to Singtel Orchard to do the activation tomorrow, and explain to them my predicament in not being able to assess the site. Maybe they should check the connection of their site.
