Taipei Trip II

The next day, we went to the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall. It was not a bad exprience after all. I managed to see the history of China in the making, and the reason why China regards Taiwan as part of its land. It was a wonderful lesson.

We went to Taipei 101 Tower after the trip to the Memorial Hall. We did some shopping. I bought 2 jackets, 1 for Stella, 1 for my cousin, thanking her for helping me in the ACCA course that I am taking.

However, after the shopping trip, the weather suddenly changed for the worst. My mum & I decided that we should head back to the hotel straightaway, as we were nearly blown away by the strong winds. We really nearly flew off.

It was a hair raising exprience.

Movie Outing Plan With Fellow Blogger Friends

I guess Darling, SR & Rich want to watch "Memiors of A Geisha", especially after the ladies were so engrossed in the book at MPH during our last meeting. It can be afternoon or nite show, but afternoon is preferred as I would like to avoid the crowd shopping for CNY goodies & clothes. I would like to call the following people. In Fond Memory of My NS Pal, Jason

I am sure that some of you who knows Jason would want to leave your condolence messages here for his family and your memories about him. I will be meeting his mum tomorrow evening and will be compiling all the messages received into a booklet to be given to his mum. The deadline for submission of the messages into the comment box is 4pm tomorrow. Thank you. Edited on 29 Dec 2007, 6.50pm After discussing with some of my & Jason's common friends, we made a conculsion that we will be burning the compiled messages to him, so that he can take it with him and read it. His body is buried at Bishan Vale, Blk 91, 2nd storey, 3rd level. I am looking at organising a group visit to the temple on Jan 1 2008 around the afternoon. Place to meet will be Bishan MRT, then we will take a cab there as I am not very sure of the exact location, despite his mum's guidance. Please contact me if you are interested in going.
