An Inspiration To Me & Other Disabled People

I was having my usual lunchtime breather today when I came across a TNP article that really tugged my heartstrings. A 22 year old guy, who is paralysed from waist down after an accident still managed to complete his poly diploma. I felt that I am defintely more lucky than him, having the ability to walk & work. I truly admire his courage & persistence.It is an inspiration for me as well.

Not like some people who do not appreciate people's help. I leave it for you guys to judge.

Just to say a big thank you to those of my friends who believe I won't do such a thing to him. Even my mum is surprised by his attitude. Here is what he wrote in his blog. He said he's not going to care, well I just leave it for you guys to judge.

Movie Outing Plan With Fellow Blogger Friends

I guess Darling, SR & Rich want to watch "Memiors of A Geisha", especially after the ladies were so engrossed in the book at MPH during our last meeting. It can be afternoon or nite show, but afternoon is preferred as I would like to avoid the crowd shopping for CNY goodies & clothes. I would like to call the following people. In Fond Memory of My NS Pal, Jason

I am sure that some of you who knows Jason would want to leave your condolence messages here for his family and your memories about him. I will be meeting his mum tomorrow evening and will be compiling all the messages received into a booklet to be given to his mum. The deadline for submission of the messages into the comment box is 4pm tomorrow. Thank you. Edited on 29 Dec 2007, 6.50pm After discussing with some of my & Jason's common friends, we made a conculsion that we will be burning the compiled messages to him, so that he can take it with him and read it. His body is buried at Bishan Vale, Blk 91, 2nd storey, 3rd level. I am looking at organising a group visit to the temple on Jan 1 2008 around the afternoon. Place to meet will be Bishan MRT, then we will take a cab there as I am not very sure of the exact location, despite his mum's guidance. Please contact me if you are interested in going.
