Ex Colleague's Wedding

I was invited by my ex-colleague, Sunny to witness his wedding ceremony & wedding lunch today. It was start of an eventful day for me.

Took a cab to the church at Toa Payoh Central, as was rather late after I spent 1.5 hours blogging about what was happening to me the past few days.

Reached there on time for the ceremony and passed Sunny my hongbao for him & his wife.

It was a short Catholic ceremony which lasted for about an hour. The couple promised to e-mail me the pics once they are back from their honeymoon in Austraila.

A bus took us to Sheraton Towers after the ceremony for the buffet lunch. It was quite a small one, as there were only 13 tables. We took the No 13 table. I must say the food is very good & I didn't regret giving the big hongbao, considering that Sunny was very good to me when I was at the company as well.

I was a bit disappointed though as I did not get to see many of my ex colleagues. Sunny was saying he had difficuities contacting some of them. Let fate decide when I meet them, I guess.
Left at 4.30pm for my next appointment at NP.

Movie Outing Plan With Fellow Blogger Friends

I guess Darling, SR & Rich want to watch "Memiors of A Geisha", especially after the ladies were so engrossed in the book at MPH during our last meeting. It can be afternoon or nite show, but afternoon is preferred as I would like to avoid the crowd shopping for CNY goodies & clothes. I would like to call the following people. In Fond Memory of My NS Pal, Jason

I am sure that some of you who knows Jason would want to leave your condolence messages here for his family and your memories about him. I will be meeting his mum tomorrow evening and will be compiling all the messages received into a booklet to be given to his mum. The deadline for submission of the messages into the comment box is 4pm tomorrow. Thank you. Edited on 29 Dec 2007, 6.50pm After discussing with some of my & Jason's common friends, we made a conculsion that we will be burning the compiled messages to him, so that he can take it with him and read it. His body is buried at Bishan Vale, Blk 91, 2nd storey, 3rd level. I am looking at organising a group visit to the temple on Jan 1 2008 around the afternoon. Place to meet will be Bishan MRT, then we will take a cab there as I am not very sure of the exact location, despite his mum's guidance. Please contact me if you are interested in going.
