Week full of Work & Surprises

This week was a week full of work & surprises. I have been reaching home at close to 8pm or 8.30pm.due to the high volume of work, which has been piling up due to my slow PC previously. It looks like I have to be back in office this Sat, despite it been my off day to clear some of the 40 odd tax computations & filing work.

A week full of surprises as well. Here they are:-
  1. Krys sms me on Sunday, asking me how my mum was. She said she was reading my blog & knew that my mum was coughing badly. It has been a while since we last chatted or sms. After a while, she saw me online and we started chatting and catching up about what was happening to all of us.
  2. Results Day- I was expecting not to clear 2 of the papers but I cleared 2 and was surprised. However the happiness was marred by the fact that I flunked 2.4 again.
  3. One of my close friends lost her grandma yesterday. I was quite stunned when I saw her sms. Let's hope she can get over the loss soon.
  4. My friend, Alex has invited me to witness her baby shower this Sunday. I am looking forward to that.

Movie Outing Plan With Fellow Blogger Friends

I guess Darling, SR & Rich want to watch "Memiors of A Geisha", especially after the ladies were so engrossed in the book at MPH during our last meeting. It can be afternoon or nite show, but afternoon is preferred as I would like to avoid the crowd shopping for CNY goodies & clothes. I would like to call the following people. In Fond Memory of My NS Pal, Jason

I am sure that some of you who knows Jason would want to leave your condolence messages here for his family and your memories about him. I will be meeting his mum tomorrow evening and will be compiling all the messages received into a booklet to be given to his mum. The deadline for submission of the messages into the comment box is 4pm tomorrow. Thank you. Edited on 29 Dec 2007, 6.50pm After discussing with some of my & Jason's common friends, we made a conculsion that we will be burning the compiled messages to him, so that he can take it with him and read it. His body is buried at Bishan Vale, Blk 91, 2nd storey, 3rd level. I am looking at organising a group visit to the temple on Jan 1 2008 around the afternoon. Place to meet will be Bishan MRT, then we will take a cab there as I am not very sure of the exact location, despite his mum's guidance. Please contact me if you are interested in going.
