Elaine's Birthday Bash

I was rushing for this event yesterday as I had to rush back to office to clear some work as my audit dept colleague, B had asked me to draft the tax computation for one of the clients' audit. In the end, I rushed home to get my camera and the birthday gal's gift before meeting up with Wendy, Richard & Rebecca at Bugis to choose the cake for the birthday gal. Hope Elaine mei enjoyed the strawberry shortcake, as I think it was the most presentable cake in the cake shop that we could find. Thanks to Stella & Wendy for sharing the cake with me.

After buying the cake, we took the train to Paya Lebar to meet the birthday gal & her guests. It was interesting to note that Elaine brought her student with her too. I hope the little boy, Geoffery had a good time with all of us yesterday.

Dinner was at a Muslim resturant at Gelyang Rd. Judging from the spread of dishes that we had, I think Elaine really went through great lengths to please her guests. I hope she likes my gift for her, a pair of Citigems earrings.

After dinner, some of the guests went home, while the rest of us continued with the fun at KTV at Marina Square. We were allocated a big room, enough for all of us to sleep in. The fun continued to 2am, where all of us left in our seperate ways home.

Movie Outing Plan With Fellow Blogger Friends

I guess Darling, SR & Rich want to watch "Memiors of A Geisha", especially after the ladies were so engrossed in the book at MPH during our last meeting. It can be afternoon or nite show, but afternoon is preferred as I would like to avoid the crowd shopping for CNY goodies & clothes. I would like to call the following people. In Fond Memory of My NS Pal, Jason

I am sure that some of you who knows Jason would want to leave your condolence messages here for his family and your memories about him. I will be meeting his mum tomorrow evening and will be compiling all the messages received into a booklet to be given to his mum. The deadline for submission of the messages into the comment box is 4pm tomorrow. Thank you. Edited on 29 Dec 2007, 6.50pm After discussing with some of my & Jason's common friends, we made a conculsion that we will be burning the compiled messages to him, so that he can take it with him and read it. His body is buried at Bishan Vale, Blk 91, 2nd storey, 3rd level. I am looking at organising a group visit to the temple on Jan 1 2008 around the afternoon. Place to meet will be Bishan MRT, then we will take a cab there as I am not very sure of the exact location, despite his mum's guidance. Please contact me if you are interested in going.
