Interesting Conversation

I had an interesting conversation with mum last night. I was telling her that I am not really into the religious stuff, as I believe no matter what you do, you are the one that is responsible for your action, not your religion.
She was asking me how I know to differeniate between right or wrong if I don't believe so deep in SSA. I told her I had studied history in secondary school for 4 years. I always have this philosphy that " Do not repeat what the historians or yesteryear people have done wrong, so you would not tend to go wrong".
I went on to tell her that I discovered that people who have studied history tend not to believe so deeply in religion. I wonder if you guys believe in this sentence?

i believe deeply in religion. but it depends what you mean by that.
i like history..for example think about roman and greek histroy which coincides with mythology.

What I meant by deeply means that I don't really like to participate in their activities if I really dun like that activity.

My mum tried to get me involved in their activity and guess what, I fell asleep in front of the crowd.

Movie Outing Plan With Fellow Blogger Friends

I guess Darling, SR & Rich want to watch "Memiors of A Geisha", especially after the ladies were so engrossed in the book at MPH during our last meeting. In Fond Memory of My NS Pal, Jason

I am sure that some of you who knows Jason would want to leave your condolence messages here for his family and your memories about him. I will be meeting his mum tomorrow evening and will be compiling all the messages received into a booklet to be given to his mum. The deadline for submission of the messages into the comment box is 4pm tomorrow. Thank you. Edited on 29 Dec 2007, 6.50pm After discussing with some of my & Jason's common friends, we made a conculsion that we will be burning the compiled messages to him, so that he can take it with him and read it. His body is buried at Bishan Vale, Blk 91, 2nd storey, 3rd level. I am looking at organising a group visit to the temple on Jan 1 2008 around the afternoon. Place to meet will be Bishan MRT, then we will take a cab there as I am not very sure of the exact location, despite his mum's guidance. Please contact me if you are interested in going.
