Meet Up With Long Time Malaysian Net Friend

I met up with my long time Malaysian net friend, Michelle & her boyfriend, Mervyn at Suntec City Sakae Sushi.


She is on a 3 day tour to catch 张惠妹 concert, which happened yesterday and an Esplande play that is going to happen tomorrow, before going back to Cyberjaya on Sunday.


I knew Michelle while she was working in Singapore about 3 years ago. Today was our first meeting despite knowing each other for so long. We chatted for about 2 hours on a wide range of topics on work, lifestyle, travel & concerts before calling it a night as she wanted to show her boyfriend around as it is only his 2nd visit to Singapore.


I hope the couple enjoys their stay in Singapore. I did enjoy myself tonight. Thanks Michelle for inviting me to pay her a visit at KL early next year. I try to make some time to be there.

Movie Outing Plan With Fellow Blogger Friends

I guess Darling, SR & Rich want to watch "Memiors of A Geisha", especially after the ladies were so engrossed in the book at MPH during our last meeting. It can be afternoon or nite show, but afternoon is preferred as I would like to avoid the crowd shopping for CNY goodies & clothes. I would like to call the following people. In Fond Memory of My NS Pal, Jason

I am sure that some of you who knows Jason would want to leave your condolence messages here for his family and your memories about him. I will be meeting his mum tomorrow evening and will be compiling all the messages received into a booklet to be given to his mum. The deadline for submission of the messages into the comment box is 4pm tomorrow. Thank you. Edited on 29 Dec 2007, 6.50pm After discussing with some of my & Jason's common friends, we made a conculsion that we will be burning the compiled messages to him, so that he can take it with him and read it. His body is buried at Bishan Vale, Blk 91, 2nd storey, 3rd level. I am looking at organising a group visit to the temple on Jan 1 2008 around the afternoon. Place to meet will be Bishan MRT, then we will take a cab there as I am not very sure of the exact location, despite his mum's guidance. Please contact me if you are interested in going.
