Charity Beigns At Home

I was shouted at as I was going to have my dinner at home today. At first, I thought it was some salesman who was selling SCV packages or ice-creams. Little did I realise that this person was trying to ask people to donate to a charity organisation that I have not heard before.

I was pretty pissed by the way he shouted at me in the first place, so do you think I still wish to donate to this organisation, or let this person take my donation? Secondly, the charity seems dubious. Ever since the Ren Ci & NKF incidents, I have since stopped giving to charities, except for NCSS, which I started during my NS days.

I just feel that there are more needy people around us, especially friends and relatives who may need help in one way or another. I wonder if u agree with me on this?

Movie Outing Plan With Fellow Blogger Friends

I guess Darling, SR & Rich want to watch "Memiors of A Geisha", especially after the ladies were so engrossed in the book at MPH during our last meeting. It can be afternoon or nite show, but afternoon is preferred as I would like to avoid the crowd shopping for CNY goodies & clothes. I would like to call the following people. In Fond Memory of My NS Pal, Jason

I am sure that some of you who knows Jason would want to leave your condolence messages here for his family and your memories about him. I will be meeting his mum tomorrow evening and will be compiling all the messages received into a booklet to be given to his mum. The deadline for submission of the messages into the comment box is 4pm tomorrow. Thank you. Edited on 29 Dec 2007, 6.50pm After discussing with some of my & Jason's common friends, we made a conculsion that we will be burning the compiled messages to him, so that he can take it with him and read it. His body is buried at Bishan Vale, Blk 91, 2nd storey, 3rd level. I am looking at organising a group visit to the temple on Jan 1 2008 around the afternoon. Place to meet will be Bishan MRT, then we will take a cab there as I am not very sure of the exact location, despite his mum's guidance. Please contact me if you are interested in going.
