Actually tried to update something here yesterday, but I guess there was something wrong with the site. I hope you guys can see this today.Finally, a chance for a long weekend, but not before a barrage of nasty comments from my colleagues, yet again. The Personal Tax (Form B & Form B1 are finally streaming in). I wonder how I can cope with it, with the extension deadline coming just a month apart of each other. I guess just take it as it comes along.I have decided to start my revision on 30 April. Hope my load will be lighter by then, not like the last round, where I was quite cooped up with my work, therefore I flunked 1 of the papers.Stella won't be joining me for the Taipei trip, as her manager had refused to grant her leave. I told her I will ask her along next time. Some anger over the travel agent's arrangements though, the agent has put us in a 4 star hotel, not a 3 star one that we have asked for. The reason being, the 3 star one is full. I guess its their way of pocketing extra commission. Haha..:)Went to volunteeer for the Income Tax filing session at my Community Club. It was quite a boring session as not many people came by. (Maybe the deadline is not very near, and it was raining heavily yesterday). I told the club manager that I will pop by to help him if I am free. He gladly appreciated.After that, I went to Suntec City, to meet a long-time net friend, Alexandra. It was her birthday on 25 March. I waited about close to 2 hours for her, so she decided to treat me KTV. Well, for people who know me, I do not accept treats from people without giving something in return, espsecially during special occasions. So spending my time wisely, I shopped a present for her. Thankfully, Suntec has many shops for me to run around. In the end, I got a watch for her. She was quite surprised as the price don't come cheap. She decided to top up some more money for a more sporty watch. I told her she was lucky as I work around the area, so I will always pop by Suntec City, therefore I know what I wanted to get for her. :)After singing close to 3 hours after that, we headed home

I joined the Facebook Foodies Club for dinner at Bacchus last night. Yesterday was with a smaller group of people with 11 people. It meant that I had a chance to interact with people and enjoy good food at the same time. I certainly had a good time knowing Deborah, Rene, Wenna, Chris & Catherine. The good part was having my singing buddy, Jonathan around as well, making me able to enjoy the dinner and making friends with relative ease. I must say I enjoyed the food, that I ordered. I ordered the Flumuken,Bawhrust susages and tiramisu cake. You must be thinking that why I ordered so much food. I must say I was very hungry as I didn’t have a filling lunch. Although, it burned a hole in my pocket, but it is certainly good to indulge in myself sometimes! I like the ambience of the restuarant. After the dinner, we indulged ourselves in some German wine before we were asked to pose for photos. After that, we adjourned to Harry’s Bar for a drink and chat session. Jonathan was so afraid

My Hosting Script for The National Day Event

I just managed to work out the draft hosting script for the National Day Event I am hosting. I am thankful for all the comments that I have received from my fellow RC members and friends. Just feel that sometimes, no matter whatever you do, some people, no matter for what reasons, will not be happy with the arrangements. I just wish to say that I am already trying my best to try to get this event going, considering the fact, that this is the 1st time I am organising an RC event. I have also tried my best, despite the fact that I would like to have a free hand to organise the event, just like what I usually do for the KTV events I have on Facebook, I accommodated to the requests that I should somehow follow the past years’ format to do the event. I know that I am not very familiar with how things are run at the RC, therefore in the end, my organising committee only made some changes to the event as we had a limited budget to work on.  It has been a while since I last blogged. Since then, I am settling well into my role, although there were some incomings and outgoings, which are common in any workplace.   I managed to catch a last glimpse of Yishun Orto before it closed on 30 June. I would like Leonard, Wendy & Michael, as without them performing at the Happiest Hour Bar & Bistro, I guess I would never go to this place, as I had not so fond memories of a nearby place during my NS days.   I did not manage to get A* Mei or Jacky Cheung concert tickets this round. It could be a sign for me to build up my savings again after an unstable 3 years on the job front. I hope to stay on this job for a while despite its lack of transport amenities and lack of shelters for rain as it is not often that you can have great teams of colleagues and bosses with whom you can get along well. I guess having a boss who is differently abled helps me to settle in well as colleagues tend to be more understanding and caring.
