Paul's Fulfilling Life

In about 1.5 days time, we would be welcoming 2008. But before that, I just want to recap what has gone on in my life in the past year. The Good & Happy Patching up of differences with Darling. Glad to have patched up our differences in the early part of the year. I could feel that our friendship is getting stronger with the patch up. Thanks for giving me the advice when I needed them. Darling's Wedding & Caifeng's Wedding. Glad to be part of the celebrations. Glad to see that my friends are getting hitched! Wonder when will it be my turn? I am not feeling the urge but my mum is. Knowing more nice friends like Curryegg, Peggy, Tammy & Elaine. Hopefully our friendship will stay strong. First time giving flowers to a lady ( Someone whom I have not met yet, but hopefully can do so tomorrow) and she was thankful for it. She said I am a sweet guy. What will this lead to? I am not sure. I would like to thank some of my friends & readers of my blog for asking how I was after knowing that my close NS pal passed away. Thanks L, Ms R, N, GT, GN, D Just to put away the fears, I am feeling fine. Even though some tears welled up as I was compiling the memories book for him. I have slotted in quite a number of pics that we have taken between 2005 to 2007. Hopefully, this will bring smiles to his face at the other place he is in. S, M, K & B said that Jason must be very grateful and honoured to have me as a friend. I told them that he had been good to me as well, since my NS days. This was the least that I could do for him in return. When people are good to you, you should be good to the person too. This is the way I am taught. Mum was surprised that I managed to do up the memories book by using some old photos. I told her "Memories are made of these."

I am sure that some of you who knows Jason would want to leave your condolence messages here for his family and your memories about him. I will be meeting his mum tomorrow evening and will be compiling all the messages received into a booklet to be given to his mum. The deadline for submission of the messages into the comment box is 4pm tomorrow. Thank you. Edited on 29 Dec 2007, 6.50pm After discussing with some of my & Jason's common friends, we made a conculsion that we will be burning the compiled messages to him, so that he can take it with him and read it. His body is buried at Bishan Vale, Blk 91, 2nd storey, 3rd level. I am looking at organising a group visit to the temple on Jan 1 2008 around the afternoon. Place to meet will be Bishan MRT, then we will take a cab there as I am not very sure of the exact location, despite his mum's guidance. Please contact me if you are interested in going.

This post is dedicated to my NS pal, Jason who passed away on 23 Dec 2007. Although it is sad to hear this piece of news today, I am glad that this puts an end to his suffering over the past one year plus. My friend, I will remember the good times we shared together over the past 8 years. You have been a great listener to my troubles. It is always fun to have you around at gatherings. I will never forget you! Thanks for the memories, my pal. Jason is buried at Bishan Ville, near RI. Anyone wants to join in to pay respects to him?

Some of you reading this will know who I am talking about if you guys have been reading my blog, Elaine's blog & Wendy's blog. Kaylee finally admitted that she lied about her pressence in Singapore, when I saw her online yesterday. It was not a surprise really, and I must say Darling is very smart to have guessed it. I have asked her why she did that? Didn't it occur to her that we have been concerned about her, especially her health? She said she agreed. I wonder if she is trying to gain attention, care & concern, sympathy from us. Like what Ka said, of all things why play with feelings? If she wanted the attention and spotlight, I think she got it every now and then from our blogs. I told her I needed a lot of convicing before I can trust her again. A cry wolf story makes me once bitten, twice shy. She promised an apology entry to me, Stella, Elaine & Wendy on her blog today, but I decided not to trust her any further, even though she say she wants

I was up early even though I was not working today as I had an interview at Raffles Place. I thought the interview was going to take me 2 hours at most but it ended up being close to 4 hrs as I had to wait for the boss to conduct the second half of the interview. The wait was about 1.5 hrs. I was quite pissed by his attitude, as he asked me why I did not put any of my boss' references for the application. I just felt that it was not necessary as I am very afraid that my past & current employers may put up a bad reference. Not only that, I do not want my current boss to know that I am looking for a job. If the interview had been 2 hrs or shorter, I could have went to Plaza Singapura or Marina Square to catch an early movie, before the crowd was out at around early afternoon. I had wanted to catch Alvin the Chimpmunk or the R21 version of Lust Caution. Because of the delay of the interview, I had to hide in the Citylink MPH bookstore for about 2 hrs as I waited for Darling

I was asked by several of my readers about the whereabouts of Kaylee for the past week. Seriously, it was a question that I think it is best to be answered by herself. The 6 of us, Stella, Wendy, Elaine, Ter, Chris & myself were left looking like fools on 3 occasions:- My & Ter's birthday bash A planned meeting on my birthday A planned meeting on Hari Raya Haji The only reasons that we could think of were:- She was too sick during her stay here, but in the 1st place, she would not be allowed to leave the airport. Her family, with her included were not even in Singapore for the week. She is still a minor. Being at 16, her family is very protective of her. She is a virtual person that assumed a different identity in real life. She is a boy and not a girl. We are taking this as a cruel Christmas joke, as it is not likely that she is not aware of her hotel name or room number despite being there for about a week. Let's see if sh

I was up at 4.15am to see my long-time net friend, Joey off to the airport for her departure to USA for a 2 year detachment excercise just now. I told Rain not to let her know that I was going to see her off. I still remembered that at our previous meeting, she mentioned that she was thinking if she should go for the detachment. I told her that this was a good opportunity for her to gain some overseas training exprience, as not every serviceman in the Air Force has the chance to go, Thefore it is good to go. Met up with Rain & Joey for lunch cum gift exchange lunch session at Marina Square today. My apologies to the ladies for being late as I was held up by a long application form. Gift exchange was good, as Joey liked the Winnie the Pooh that I gave to her. I was surprised that she and Rain gave me a subsidy for me to try to go to the Jacky Cheung concert which is coming in Jan. I am still trying to find a partner to go with me, but till now, no one has answered my plea for company to the concert. After that, met up with Stella at Hotel Royal @ Queens to try to find Kaylee. All of us are disappointed that we are not able to find her. I hope that her health is not giving her any problems again. Was joined by Elaine,Ter. Wendy & Chris for a movie session. Dragging my feet to work on my birthday was bad. But the smses, MSN messages & gift from my friends, clients colleague and relatives perked up my day. Just wanna wish myself have a wonderful birthday in an hour or so. May my secret wishes come true.

I know that some of you are anxiously waiting for this to be uploaded to my blog. I guess the bride is anxious too. I am sorry that I am only able to put up one video as the loading is pretty slow and someone was blocking our view as me or Kaka were taking them. I must say this is the most fun wedding that I have went so far. The atomosphere was really filled with fun. I was just as surprised as Darling about why Aidah did not turn up at the last min. I am glad that Darling liked the surprise that I given her. I have actually compiled my post, Wendy's post, Kaka's post, together with the well wishes for her into a folder and gave to her. I liked the part where Darling's sister asked Mr Tan to translate the 10 sentences of love from English to Hokkien. The part was absolutely hilarious, that we really burst into laughter. I hereby wish the couple once again, have a happy & blissful marriage, and treasure each other.

I know that I will be busy tonight as I will be at Darling's wedding dinner. Just to wish a happy 16th birthday to Kaylee tomorrow. I hope she gets well soon so we can meet her somehow to pass her her birthday presents from us!!! Kaylee, if u r reading this, please call me when you see this.

I got to thank my mum, my 4 little cousins, my friends for making my & Terence's birthday party at my place a huge success. This is by far the best one I had, as the crowd was huge, 24 people, my mum went to count when she was helping me & Ter cut the cake. If you are wondering where the photos are? Yesterday was a busy day for me, my mum and my cousins. I had to rush to register for my Corporate Reporting class and had to go back to work again on a Saturday again. My cousins and my mum were cleaning up the house for yesterday's celebration. I know it was hard work for mum, and as usual she was telling me not to hold the birthday at home in the future. She was to change her mind later after enjoying the good food, my friends & cousins that came and after seeing my presents & angpows. Work was not flowing smoothly, even on a Saturday. I was reprimanded by client for doing her tax computation before her accounts were not even sent out for signature. The b*** had asked me to do the tax computation based on that. Anyway, I have asked my boss to handle the case as the client is his good friend. Tomorrow is one of my best blogger friend, Darling's customary wedding. I had a mixed feelings day at work today, filled with happiness & sadness. First the Happy News ......:) Christmas lunch on 19 Dec 2007. Was told by the receptionist that my company annual lunch will be on the day after my birthday. The place as what I heard from Mrs Yee will be Plaza Parkroyal Hotel again.
