2 Horror Weeks

I was hoping that after my trip to Taipei, my batteries will be recharged & I will be able to handle the influx of the Form C & queries more effectively. But it was not to be. Haiz:(

My lady boss has been monitoring my work progress & puntucality issues since I was back from Taipei. She is also trying to get me to implement a whole siew of changes that will effectively slow down the efficiency of my work & increase the cost of the work. Also the resources that I have now, are not that fantastic also, A Windows 95 PC, with corrupted software, that prints out a different type each time I type.

I was wondering if someone has been stabbing me in the back due to jealousy or what. If it is the case, I think I know who those people are. It must be that prawn or that senior.

These stupid games are driving me nuts, I am planning to start my hunt for my new job. Any takers???

Movie Outing Plan With Fellow Blogger Friends

I guess Darling, SR & Rich want to watch "Memiors of A Geisha", especially after the ladies were so engrossed in the book at MPH during our last meeting. There are certain things which some Chinese are pretty particular with:- Happy and sad events can't clash together within 100 days to a year. If a relative or loved one were to pass away, the immediate family member can't attend a happy event, like wedding & housewarming. The Teochews treat their eldest male grandchild as their youngest son. If you are getting married & your friend who is getting married invites you to his wedding, u are not allowed to attend. The old people say happy events clash. The red packet can't be given twice for a happy event. Likewise for the condolence packet. One should not give shoes or lamp to a birthday boy or gal, as it is believed that you may bring the person to his deathbed. These are some interesting stuff to share, especially to some blog readers who are not living in a place filled with Chinese.
