Mum's nagging

My mum has been pestering me to get Stella’s birthday present as soon as possible. (I will be sharing with my friends to get the Nokia 6030 for her. Anyway, if ask me to get it now, I am a bit broke also, as I just paid for my ACCA course & exam fees. That alone is about $600.) I wonder why? She has this funny thought that Jason is interested in Stella. Even if he is interested in her, I can’t stop them as Stella has already said she is only interested to be friends with me. Seems like she is getting to my nerves. I have to get someone to impersonate as my girlfriend soon. I need to stop her nagging.)

I cannot wait for Snow Wolf Lake to start. I have the tickets for the next Saturday’s performance. I will be going with Stella, Huiyu & Francis. I have no doubt that Jacky Cheung & Xu Hui Xin will be giving a great performance, as I have heard the CD version of their performance in Hong Kong. Its not bad. I think Nandia may not be good, from what I heard from my ex-tenant. Catch my updates here next week.

Talk to your mom nicely about the nagging. Getting someone to impersonate will do not good; in fact, it's going to make you even more stressed up... "When are you bringing ur gf home for me to see again?" "what's your gf's home number ah? I wanna chat with her mah..." "When are you bringing your gf home for dinner ah?"

See how much more stressful you can get by getting someone to impersonate? Hahaha... (^_^)

You have to be a parent to understand her, I guess..... (^-^)

Don't lidat lah, sometimes just joke with her lor, dun always be so serious. Well, you can always volunteer to be a monk if all else fails!

I joined the Facebook Foodies Club for dinner at Bacchus last night. Yesterday was with a smaller group of people with 11 people. It meant that I had a chance to interact with people and enjoy good food at the same time. I certainly had a good time knowing Deborah, Rene, Wenna, Chris & Catherine. The good part was having my singing buddy, Jonathan around as well, making me able to enjoy the dinner and making friends with relative ease. I must say I enjoyed the food, that I ordered. I ordered the Flumuken,Bawhrust susages and tiramisu cake. You must be thinking that why I ordered so much food. I must say I was very hungry as I didn’t have a filling lunch. Although, it burned a hole in my pocket, but it is certainly good to indulge in myself sometimes! I like the ambience of the restuarant. My Hosting Script for The National Day Event

I just managed to work out the draft hosting script for the National Day Event I am hosting. I am thankful for all the comments that I have received from my fellow RC members and friends. Just feel that sometimes, no matter whatever you do, some people, no matter for what reasons, will not be happy with the arrangements. I just wish to say that I am already trying my best to try to get this event going, considering the fact, that this is the 1st time I am organising an RC event. I have also tried my best, despite the fact that I would like to have a free hand to organise the event, just like what I usually do for the KTV events I have on Facebook, I accommodated to the requests that I should somehow follow the past years’ format to do the event. I know that I am not very familiar with how things are run at the RC, therefore in the end, my organising committee only made some changes to the event as we had a limited budget to work on. June Musings

 It has been a while since I last blogged. Since then, I am settling well into my role, although there were some incomings and outgoings, which are common in any workplace.   I managed to catch a last glimpse of Yishun Orto before it closed on 30 June. I would like Leonard, Wendy & Michael, as without them performing at the Happiest Hour Bar & Bistro, I guess I would never go to this place, as I had not so fond memories of a nearby place during my NS days.   I did not manage to get A* Mei or Jacky Cheung concert tickets this round. It could be a sign for me to build up my savings again after an unstable 3 years on the job front. I hope to stay on this job for a while despite its lack of transport amenities and lack of shelters for rain as it is not often that you can have great teams of colleagues and bosses with whom you can get along well. I guess having a boss who is differently abled helps me to settle in well as colleagues tend to be more understanding and caring.
