Lesson Day

Yesterday was the final lesson for my Audit & Internal Review paper. It was also the 1st time I saw Richard after his break-off with Irene. I could sense that he is still very upset about the break up.

I told him that with Irene's attitude towards him in the last year of the relationship, It is atrocious to think that they are a couple.

1. When Richard wants to chat with her on the phone, she is not even to spare at least 5 mins to chat with him. As Richard described aptly, he is like a train being stopped at a crossing.
2. When it was Richard's b-day 2 months ago, she told him to get his own birthday present & she will reimburse him later.
3. When she is out with her friends, she will ask Richard to go & rent a car & pick her up, Richard would sometimes oblige, but as he is sometimes tired, she would rant at him.
4. When Richard wants to go out with her, she always rejects him, even though he ask her out once a week.

I feel that as a couple, proper communication is vital in a relationship. This is more so in Singapore as all of us are always busy with our stuff, so meeting up for dates are usually quite limited, but I still think a couple should meet at least once a week.

I just hope this breakup will not affect his exam grades for the upcoming exam in Dec.

Cheer up, my friend, Irene is not suitable for you, she behaves like a spolit child. I am sure with your good character & good boy habits, you can find a better gal.
