I was out with Wendy yesterday. Met her after work @ City Hall MRT. It was an enjoyable outing, a relief from the stressful workload that I had been through for the past few weeks. Dinner was at Sakae Sushi @ Citylink Mall. It was surprising that she ate so little, maybe she didn't know me well then. Let's hope we can meet again though. It was just a dinner as she had to work today.

Today, my ex-colleague, Roy came to my place to put in place the home wireless network of 2 PCs and the notebook at the request of my mum. The network is working well now. My mum says the purpose of the network is to enable her to use her PC in the room to surf the internet as her new job required her to make use of the Internet to do some purchasing stuff and e-mail communication as well. The network is working well now, but Roy says iy will be better if I can get a telephone connection point to my bedroom upstairs. In this way, the network singal strength would be superb.

Caifeng & I are interested to go for the JJ concert, but it seems like no one is interested to join us. Wonder if Darling or Krys will be interested. Here are the details to his concert. If you guys or gals are interested, please let me know via here, tagboard, MSN, handphone and e-mail.

She is interested in his new album,曹操 as well, and asked me to burn for her, which I will gladly do as she is not the first person to request from me. Rebecca also requested his album from me, which I will pass to her when we meet up for a group gathering this Saturday @ Oli Dome at Wheelock Place.
Talking about the gathering on Saturday, 29 April 2006, Richard had suggested the Coffee Lounge @ Goodwood Park Hotel. Although we wanted to try there and we knew that the buffet could come up to $50 per person, a few of them said that it was too expensive, so the place was changed to Oli Dome Wheelock Place. I tried the food at Suntec City branch and I must say it is not bad, so I hope they like my recommendation. There would be a few occasions to celebrate for the whole group joining us. So I guess it will be fun. I should be bringing my digital camera along for the occasion.

I joined the Facebook Foodies Club for dinner at Bacchus last night. Yesterday was with a smaller group of people with 11 people. It meant that I had a chance to interact with people and enjoy good food at the same time. I certainly had a good time knowing Deborah, Rene, Wenna, Chris & Catherine. The good part was having my singing buddy, Jonathan around as well, making me able to enjoy the dinner and making friends with relative ease. I must say I enjoyed the food, that I ordered. I ordered the Flumuken,Bawhrust susages and tiramisu cake. You must be thinking that why I ordered so much food. I must say I was very hungry as I didn’t have a filling lunch. Although, it burned a hole in my pocket, but it is certainly good to indulge in myself sometimes! I like the ambience of the restuarant. My Hosting Script for The National Day Event

I just managed to work out the draft hosting script for the National Day Event I am hosting. I am thankful for all the comments that I have received from my fellow RC members and friends. Just feel that sometimes, no matter whatever you do, some people, no matter for what reasons, will not be happy with the arrangements. I just wish to say that I am already trying my best to try to get this event going, considering the fact, that this is the 1st time I am organising an RC event. I have also tried my best, despite the fact that I would like to have a free hand to organise the event, just like what I usually do for the KTV events I have on Facebook, I accommodated to the requests that I should somehow follow the past years’ format to do the event. I know that I am not very familiar with how things are run at the RC, therefore in the end, my organising committee only made some changes to the event as we had a limited budget to work on. June Musings

 It has been a while since I last blogged. Since then, I am settling well into my role, although there were some incomings and outgoings, which are common in any workplace.   I managed to catch a last glimpse of Yishun Orto before it closed on 30 June. I would like Leonard, Wendy & Michael, as without them performing at the Happiest Hour Bar & Bistro, I guess I would never go to this place, as I had not so fond memories of a nearby place during my NS days.   I did not manage to get A* Mei or Jacky Cheung concert tickets this round. It could be a sign for me to build up my savings again after an unstable 3 years on the job front. I hope to stay on this job for a while despite its lack of transport amenities and lack of shelters for rain as it is not often that you can have great teams of colleagues and bosses with whom you can get along well. I guess having a boss who is differently abled helps me to settle in well as colleagues tend to be more understanding and caring.
