X Men - The Last Stand

In X-MEN: THE LAST STAND, the final chapter in the "X-Men" motion picture trilogy, a "cure" for mutancy threatens to alter the course of history. For the first time, mutants have a choice: retain their uniqueness, though it isolates and alienates them, or give up their powers and become human. The opposing viewpoints of mutant leaders Charles Xavier, who preaches tolerance, and Magneto, who believes in the survival of the fittest, are put to the ultimate test – triggering the war to end all wars.

The story started with how Jean Grey became an X-Men , then it continued from Scott Summers managed to find her back from her death in X-Men 2. Her return was to have a devastating effect on the rest of mutants & X-Men. Some lives were lost.

How was she stopped from doing the deeds? Did she choose Logan or Scott? I leave these questions unanswered for you guys to enjoy the show.

Overall, I enjoyed the show. I liked the character of Storm (played by Halle Berry, ex Bond girl) & the Professor (played by Patrick Stewart of Star Trek fame). I will give the movie a rating of 4 out of 5.

Had watched the movie with Jason at Causeway Point Cineplex. We had Hawaiian Pizza for dinner at Pizza Hut before catching the show. I found that the Cathay booking system was not as user friendly as the GV one. When you book the tickets, you need to deselect the seats that was allocated by the system before you are allowed to choose a new seat. Also, the payment is not confirmed at the system over the Internet. It was only confirmed at the cinema.

If given the choice, I would have caught the movie @ GV instead.
