Busy Days
Friday
I have been busy for the weekend & yesterday. I was seething with anger on Friday as I felt that something had not been done right at work, but the b*** went to psycho my boss and ask me to do according to her instructions.
Firstly, I felt that the accounts were audited by a reputed CPA firm. It is a “Big Four” CPA firm. I am sure their work is not as shoddy as my colleagues, whereby they don’t always check their work, and when the error is discovered, they just push the blame to the tax dept, which is me, the client or any other parties involved. I feel that the reputed firm has its reason for not offsetting that category of income against a similar category of expense, as they may be from two separate sources in nature. I was trying to tell my boss & the b*** that we should just follow what was disclosed in the income statement and not change its contents as it will attract the attention of the tax authorities. My boss decided to side with the b*** on the issue and asked me to change the detailed income statement, that was prepared by me, as the reputed firm does not release its detailed income statement to other parties. I did that unwillingly, and I think it will attract the attention of IRAS when the tax computation is submitted.
The best part was the b*** had the cheek to leave on the dot after leaving this load of rubbish for me and kept saying that it was urgent and must be done by today. She kept using the client to pressure me. I still have 3 charities tax computation that is not done as their audit is still not completed. Furthermore, there is a club tax computation, a company account, whose FY is 31 Dec 2005. The extension deadline ends this Sat. I wonder what she is doing. It seems that she is just doing assignment of audit jobs and not doing anything else. If her job is so simple, I also want her $4K pay. That’s what you call an audit supervisor job.

Had a shock when a long time net friend of mine wanted to start a relationship with me. I thought she was joking as I have not met her before. I told her to think properly first as I know she had not ended her previous relationship properly. At the same time, I can think about what to do with this.
Sunday
I managed to complete the weekly compilation of e-filers statistics to IRAS. Fortunately, there was Eugene & Cecily to assist me on the duties. I have also decided on the Outstanding Volunteer Award winner for this exercise. You may think that it is too fast, but I am impressed by what the volunteer is doing so far. I will provide my input to the grassroots leader, Mr Phoon before getting him to decide. For the commendation awards, it has not been decided yet. If I can't think of anyone, I will get Mr Phoon to decide.

Monday
My hotel bookings for the Macau & HK trip has been confirmed. I will be staying in Metropark Macau & Metropark HK Hotel. There was an additional surcharge of about $50 for the HK hotel. Mum said just go ahead with the booking, if not we have to sleep by the roads.
Tuesday
My nose is funnily blocked. It could be the bad weather, poor ventilation at the office or the b*** who passed the virus to me. Decided not to take any chances and went to see the doc, who gave me the flu medication and a day to rest. I guess I be knocking out soon.
