Why Some People Just Like to Backstab People

I had a lousy day at office yesterday despite having my National Day public holiday.
The b*** tried to be funny with some things again. She said I did not do my filing of my documents when she could not find one of the tax correspondences from IRAS from my files. I told her I have not rexeive anything from IRAS despite the fact that the tax officer whom I spoke to confirmed that the correspondence was sent out in late Oct last year.
The b*** didn't believe me & searched my whole box of documents, messing up my filing arrangements in the progress. Lucky, I did some back up. I consulted my boss, who asked me to write a letter to confirm the details stated in the IRAS letter.
I just don't understand why she like to stab people's back so much, when the audit dept working papers are in a mess of their own. I actually became an auditor for a day when I discovered that the hire purchase working paper working paper was wrong as the auditor failed to include a column in his formula. It affected the hire purchase balances, hire purchase interest and minimum lease obligation disclosures. I changed the entire schedule and put it in the working papers with a note for the auditors to take note.
If u feel that I never check my work, your staff did not check their work either. You as the reviewer also just close one eye & don't check their work. The partner is also sleeping!!!
At least I am not like you, I behave professionally. You wear revealing skirts & blouses when are at work. You think you are very beautiful. Mind you, you are working in a CPA firm not a nightclub or bar. You may look okay, but your heart is as bad as poison.

I joined the Facebook Foodies Club for dinner at Bacchus last night. Yesterday was with a smaller group of people with 11 people. It meant that I had a chance to interact with people and enjoy good food at the same time. I certainly had a good time knowing Deborah, Rene, Wenna, Chris & Catherine. The good part was having my singing buddy, Jonathan around as well, making me able to enjoy the dinner and making friends with relative ease. I must say I enjoyed the food, that I ordered. I ordered the Flumuken,Bawhrust susages and tiramisu cake. You must be thinking that why I ordered so much food. I must say I was very hungry as I didn’t have a filling lunch. Although, it burned a hole in my pocket, but it is certainly good to indulge in myself sometimes! I like the ambience of the restuarant. My Hosting Script for The National Day Event

I just managed to work out the draft hosting script for the National Day Event I am hosting. I am thankful for all the comments that I have received from my fellow RC members and friends. Just feel that sometimes, no matter whatever you do, some people, no matter for what reasons, will not be happy with the arrangements. I just wish to say that I am already trying my best to try to get this event going, considering the fact, that this is the 1st time I am organising an RC event. I have also tried my best, despite the fact that I would like to have a free hand to organise the event, just like what I usually do for the KTV events I have on Facebook, I accommodated to the requests that I should somehow follow the past years’ format to do the event. I know that I am not very familiar with how things are run at the RC, therefore in the end, my organising committee only made some changes to the event as we had a limited budget to work on. June Musings

 It has been a while since I last blogged. Since then, I am settling well into my role, although there were some incomings and outgoings, which are common in any workplace.   I managed to catch a last glimpse of Yishun Orto before it closed on 30 June. I would like Leonard, Wendy & Michael, as without them performing at the Happiest Hour Bar & Bistro, I guess I would never go to this place, as I had not so fond memories of a nearby place during my NS days.   I did not manage to get A* Mei or Jacky Cheung concert tickets this round. It could be a sign for me to build up my savings again after an unstable 3 years on the job front. I hope to stay on this job for a while despite its lack of transport amenities and lack of shelters for rain as it is not often that you can have great teams of colleagues and bosses with whom you can get along well. I guess having a boss who is differently abled helps me to settle in well as colleagues tend to be more understanding and caring.
