Whatever Happened To Kaylee?

I was asked by several of my readers about the whereabouts of Kaylee for the past week. Seriously, it was a question that I think it is best to be answered by herself.

The 6 of us, Stella, Wendy, Elaine, Ter, Chris & myself were left looking like fools on 3 occasions:-

  1. My & Ter's birthday bash
  2. A planned meeting on my birthday
  3. A planned meeting on Hari Raya Haji

The only reasons that we could think of were:-

  1. She was too sick during her stay here, but in the 1st place, she would not be allowed to leave the airport.
  2. Her family, with her included were not even in Singapore for the week.
  3. She is still a minor. Being at 16, her family is very protective of her.
  4. She is a virtual person that assumed a different identity in real life.
  5. She is a boy and not a girl.

We are taking this as a cruel Christmas joke, as it is not likely that she is not aware of her hotel name or room number despite being there for about a week.

Let's see if she would be honest with us and tell us the real story behind her disappearance.

To me, it seems like she was not in Singapore for the period, as her blog did not give any indication that she was in Singapore.

She did mention that she was coming on 12 Dec to 20 Dec on a flight.

She made us go ard Bugis in Singapore to look for her with an ambiguous hotel 3 times.

Each time, she was not here. We were all worried.

After the 3rd time, it occurred to us that she may not be here after friends' enlightenment.

We are just surprised that a 16 yr old can do that, and treat it as a joke.

She has apologised to me. I have told her I needed a lot of convincing.

The rest of my friends are ignoring her.

She say she will publish an apology on blog. Let's see if she does it.

Hope u understand how Wendy, Stella, Elaine & I feel about this.

went to the airport and hotels for 3 times? Gosh.. I didn't know that you'd made the promise but didn't turn up.. Emm....

I understand your feeling and of course, wendy, stell and elaine too...

i didn't know she was going to be in singapore. anyways, the person doesn't sound like a teenager to me...for all i know. everything is FAKE about this person. fake sickness.....all they want is attention.

teenagers are capable of anything!

I joined the Facebook Foodies Club for dinner at Bacchus last night. Yesterday was with a smaller group of people with 11 people. It meant that I had a chance to interact with people and enjoy good food at the same time. I certainly had a good time knowing Deborah, Rene, Wenna, Chris & Catherine. The good part was having my singing buddy, Jonathan around as well, making me able to enjoy the dinner and making friends with relative ease. I must say I enjoyed the food, that I ordered. I ordered the Flumuken,Bawhrust susages and tiramisu cake. You must be thinking that why I ordered so much food. I must say I was very hungry as I didn’t have a filling lunch. Although, it burned a hole in my pocket, but it is certainly good to indulge in myself sometimes! I like the ambience of the restuarant. My Hosting Script for The National Day Event

I just managed to work out the draft hosting script for the National Day Event I am hosting. I am thankful for all the comments that I have received from my fellow RC members and friends. Just feel that sometimes, no matter whatever you do, some people, no matter for what reasons, will not be happy with the arrangements. I just wish to say that I am already trying my best to try to get this event going, considering the fact, that this is the 1st time I am organising an RC event. I have also tried my best, despite the fact that I would like to have a free hand to organise the event, just like what I usually do for the KTV events I have on Facebook, I accommodated to the requests that I should somehow follow the past years’ format to do the event. I know that I am not very familiar with how things are run at the RC, therefore in the end, my organising committee only made some changes to the event as we had a limited budget to work on. June Musings

 It has been a while since I last blogged. Since then, I am settling well into my role, although there were some incomings and outgoings, which are common in any workplace.   I managed to catch a last glimpse of Yishun Orto before it closed on 30 June. I would like Leonard, Wendy & Michael, as without them performing at the Happiest Hour Bar & Bistro, I guess I would never go to this place, as I had not so fond memories of a nearby place during my NS days.   I did not manage to get A* Mei or Jacky Cheung concert tickets this round. It could be a sign for me to build up my savings again after an unstable 3 years on the job front. I hope to stay on this job for a while despite its lack of transport amenities and lack of shelters for rain as it is not often that you can have great teams of colleagues and bosses with whom you can get along well. I guess having a boss who is differently abled helps me to settle in well as colleagues tend to be more understanding and caring.
