Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows

I had arranged to catch this movie with Evelyn, Jonathan & Ivy after our last movie outing, The Social Network. This was my 1st time catching the Harry Potter series.
I had rushed there from my prayer session with my mum from Tampines.I didn’t expect my prayers to be answered later in the marathon day, which I didn’t expect it to end at 6.45am this morning. For those who are curious what I was hoping for, please feel free to call and ask me as I have decided that the issue should not be revealed in this blog.
Jonathan & I didn’t expect the ladies to be rather late, but as gentlemen, we waited patiently for them to come, since I have collected the movie tickets beforehand.
I was asked to sit with Evelyn, while Ivy sat with Jonathan. I thought that the movie was pretty enjoyable, although it was getting a little violent towards the end.
We were joined for dinner at the Marina Square Food Court by Weng Kiat, Ann, Betty & Raymond. I have suggested this place as some people have commented Paul always brought them to enjoy expensive food.
The after dinner event took us to decide, but I certainly made Evelyn very happy when I said we were going to 爱琴海 for our after dinner event.This was because it was going to be her first visit there.

The performers for the night were Mood In Tune, made up of
男歌手： 杰豪 . Alvin
女歌手： 榕庭 . Cindy
键盘手： 盈盈 . Yingying
The song that Evelyn requested after the performers asked her to dedicate a song that she wanted to hear as her reward for being there the 1st time.
I feel that the female singer 榕庭 . Cindy has a powerful singing voice and she sings well too.
After the after dinner event, I knew my friends have something up their sleeves. They were trying to help me with something, so we went to Clifford Pier for a long chat. In the end, the problem was solved with their help, but the answer was not really positive.
Anyway, I appreciate their help. You guys know who you are.

I joined the Facebook Foodies Club for dinner at Bacchus last night. Yesterday was with a smaller group of people with 11 people. It meant that I had a chance to interact with people and enjoy good food at the same time. I certainly had a good time knowing Deborah, Rene, Wenna, Chris & Catherine. The good part was having my singing buddy, Jonathan around as well, making me able to enjoy the dinner and making friends with relative ease. I must say I enjoyed the food, that I ordered. I ordered the Flumuken,Bawhrust susages and tiramisu cake. You must be thinking that why I ordered so much food. I must say I was very hungry as I didn’t have a filling lunch. Although, it burned a hole in my pocket, but it is certainly good to indulge in myself sometimes! I like the ambience of the restuarant. My Hosting Script for The National Day Event

I just managed to work out the draft hosting script for the National Day Event I am hosting. I am thankful for all the comments that I have received from my fellow RC members and friends. Just feel that sometimes, no matter whatever you do, some people, no matter for what reasons, will not be happy with the arrangements. I just wish to say that I am already trying my best to try to get this event going, considering the fact, that this is the 1st time I am organising an RC event. I have also tried my best, despite the fact that I would like to have a free hand to organise the event, just like what I usually do for the KTV events I have on Facebook, I accommodated to the requests that I should somehow follow the past years’ format to do the event. I know that I am not very familiar with how things are run at the RC, therefore in the end, my organising committee only made some changes to the event as we had a limited budget to work on. June Musings

 It has been a while since I last blogged. Since then, I am settling well into my role, although there were some incomings and outgoings, which are common in any workplace.   I managed to catch a last glimpse of Yishun Orto before it closed on 30 June. I would like Leonard, Wendy & Michael, as without them performing at the Happiest Hour Bar & Bistro, I guess I would never go to this place, as I had not so fond memories of a nearby place during my NS days.   I did not manage to get A* Mei or Jacky Cheung concert tickets this round. It could be a sign for me to build up my savings again after an unstable 3 years on the job front. I hope to stay on this job for a while despite its lack of transport amenities and lack of shelters for rain as it is not often that you can have great teams of colleagues and bosses with whom you can get along well. I guess having a boss who is differently abled helps me to settle in well as colleagues tend to be more understanding and caring.
