Finally Got my Singnet Done

I went to the Hello @ Orchard to get my Singnet Recontract done. It has been very fustrating that I just can't get to the Recontract webby for the past three days. I told the Singnet people that I was only able to load half the page, without being able to look at the offers, therefore, how could I be able to sign up? Luckily, I was able to get it done at Hello @ Orchard.

After that, I accompanied Jason to the Sony Ericcson Service Centre to replace his K750I cover. It was only a recent purchase & the cover is already loose. I wonder what's with the quality control of the making of the handphone. One more thing to add, the queue at the centre was so long. This was despite the fact that we went after 2pm. On seeing that, we went for our lunch & went back after that. Unfortunately, we wasted an hour on that again.

Jason was telling me that he went to Kwan Imm Tong Temple the other day. He went to pick a lot, which was pretty unlucky. It seems that good luck has been deserting him. Just hope he can find a good job soon.

I called Rebecca today. She was saying that her nephew is still having the on-off fever that refuses to go away, therefore she's only able to confirm if she can join us on the 12th on the 10th. Let's hope the little boy is alright soon.

thanks uncle paul.. my nephew is much better, though he went in A&E again for fever of 41 degrees last night.... his appetite is very small, and he looks damn pale. But otherwise, he's still the sociable kiddo I know...

I joined the Facebook Foodies Club for dinner at Bacchus last night. Yesterday was with a smaller group of people with 11 people. It meant that I had a chance to interact with people and enjoy good food at the same time. I certainly had a good time knowing Deborah, Rene, Wenna, Chris & Catherine. The good part was having my singing buddy, Jonathan around as well, making me able to enjoy the dinner and making friends with relative ease. I must say I enjoyed the food, that I ordered. I ordered the Flumuken,Bawhrust susages and tiramisu cake. You must be thinking that why I ordered so much food. I must say I was very hungry as I didn’t have a filling lunch. Although, it burned a hole in my pocket, but it is certainly good to indulge in myself sometimes! I like the ambience of the restuarant. My Hosting Script for The National Day Event

I just managed to work out the draft hosting script for the National Day Event I am hosting. I am thankful for all the comments that I have received from my fellow RC members and friends. Just feel that sometimes, no matter whatever you do, some people, no matter for what reasons, will not be happy with the arrangements. I just wish to say that I am already trying my best to try to get this event going, considering the fact, that this is the 1st time I am organising an RC event. I have also tried my best, despite the fact that I would like to have a free hand to organise the event, just like what I usually do for the KTV events I have on Facebook, I accommodated to the requests that I should somehow follow the past years’ format to do the event. I know that I am not very familiar with how things are run at the RC, therefore in the end, my organising committee only made some changes to the event as we had a limited budget to work on. June Musings

 It has been a while since I last blogged. Since then, I am settling well into my role, although there were some incomings and outgoings, which are common in any workplace.   I managed to catch a last glimpse of Yishun Orto before it closed on 30 June. I would like Leonard, Wendy & Michael, as without them performing at the Happiest Hour Bar & Bistro, I guess I would never go to this place, as I had not so fond memories of a nearby place during my NS days.   I did not manage to get A* Mei or Jacky Cheung concert tickets this round. It could be a sign for me to build up my savings again after an unstable 3 years on the job front. I hope to stay on this job for a while despite its lack of transport amenities and lack of shelters for rain as it is not often that you can have great teams of colleagues and bosses with whom you can get along well. I guess having a boss who is differently abled helps me to settle in well as colleagues tend to be more understanding and caring.
