Introduction

I have introduced a friend for Richard as per his request. The person I have introduced to him was Rebecca, since she said she preferred quiet guys & my 8 year buddy from poly is one of them. Haha :)

Richard was quite stunned when I told him via MSN that I have introduced a new friend for him. I told him to take it as a friend first. It was quite fun actually, as Richard was commenting that SR was changing her MSN pics too fast, and made him dizzy. (SR told me today that Richard later actually requested her pics to be sent to him. I told him that my buddy can be a blind bat as he has a 1ooo degree 近视). Richard also commented she was slow in reponse to him & how SR is a person who broke a few of his commandments as friend. I shan't put here what the commandments are, as I have told SR about it in our teleconversation.

SR was saying that I should have the KTV event after my birthday dinner. She said I could make it an optional event, not compulsory for all. I think its a good idea. Anyway, I think sure got people want to join in. Darling jie & SR are those. SR also said I should not be treating for the KTV, since I already will be treating them for the dinner. DJ will rejoice over this.

I also suggested to SR that she & DJ can come to my house for the CDs after the KTV session. Anyway I have a spare room to house them. They just need to bring their clothes & other daily stuff.

I joined the Facebook Foodies Club for dinner at Bacchus last night. Yesterday was with a smaller group of people with 11 people. It meant that I had a chance to interact with people and enjoy good food at the same time. I certainly had a good time knowing Deborah, Rene, Wenna, Chris & Catherine. The good part was having my singing buddy, Jonathan around as well, making me able to enjoy the dinner and making friends with relative ease. I must say I enjoyed the food, that I ordered. I ordered the Flumuken,Bawhrust susages and tiramisu cake. You must be thinking that why I ordered so much food. I must say I was very hungry as I didn’t have a filling lunch. Although, it burned a hole in my pocket, but it is certainly good to indulge in myself sometimes! I like the ambience of the restuarant. My Hosting Script for The National Day Event

I just managed to work out the draft hosting script for the National Day Event I am hosting. I am thankful for all the comments that I have received from my fellow RC members and friends. Just feel that sometimes, no matter whatever you do, some people, no matter for what reasons, will not be happy with the arrangements. I just wish to say that I am already trying my best to try to get this event going, considering the fact, that this is the 1st time I am organising an RC event. I have also tried my best, despite the fact that I would like to have a free hand to organise the event, just like what I usually do for the KTV events I have on Facebook, I accommodated to the requests that I should somehow follow the past years’ format to do the event. I know that I am not very familiar with how things are run at the RC, therefore in the end, my organising committee only made some changes to the event as we had a limited budget to work on. June Musings

 It has been a while since I last blogged. Since then, I am settling well into my role, although there were some incomings and outgoings, which are common in any workplace.   I managed to catch a last glimpse of Yishun Orto before it closed on 30 June. I would like Leonard, Wendy & Michael, as without them performing at the Happiest Hour Bar & Bistro, I guess I would never go to this place, as I had not so fond memories of a nearby place during my NS days.   I did not manage to get A* Mei or Jacky Cheung concert tickets this round. It could be a sign for me to build up my savings again after an unstable 3 years on the job front. I hope to stay on this job for a while despite its lack of transport amenities and lack of shelters for rain as it is not often that you can have great teams of colleagues and bosses with whom you can get along well. I guess having a boss who is differently abled helps me to settle in well as colleagues tend to be more understanding and caring.
