Stunners Day

I was supposed to go to Apple to collect my IPod Nano today, but I didn't know that they will be closing at 7pm. Since I was late for work today, I was sure that I was not able to make it there on time. I thank my buddy, Jason, for sharing with me this piece of info. In fact, I was supposed to join him to collect the IPod, as he signed up for the plan too. I am looking forward to my new IPod Nano tomorrow.

I called up one of my friends, who did not pick up my calls yesterday. I knew that something was amiss when she picked up my call today. To respect her decision & prevent any misunderstandings as her boyfriend may get to see my blog through her blog, as there is a link, I won't be saying what she told me. My message to her is to take care of herself.

SR messaged me just after my lunch. She said that some of the parents thought that she was a 12 year old student playing the piano. I was laughing out loud & thinking why the parents can't see that she is a teacher & not a student. This means that she still looks very young, like a P6 student. If that's the case, I guess boyfriend & marriage can wait. Haha. (SR: meant to be a joke, no pun intended.)

Was running through my blog during lunch time & came across a new comment from a gal that I didn't know, who said that my blog was interesting & wanted to be friends with me.

What do you guys think? Should I go ahead & know her?

Rather surprised people thought I was P6 cos I was wearing SMARK CASUAL that day! Haha... Made my day though... (^_^)

I joined the Facebook Foodies Club for dinner at Bacchus last night. Yesterday was with a smaller group of people with 11 people. It meant that I had a chance to interact with people and enjoy good food at the same time. I certainly had a good time knowing Deborah, Rene, Wenna, Chris & Catherine. The good part was having my singing buddy, Jonathan around as well, making me able to enjoy the dinner and making friends with relative ease. I must say I enjoyed the food, that I ordered. I ordered the Flumuken,Bawhrust susages and tiramisu cake. You must be thinking that why I ordered so much food. I must say I was very hungry as I didn’t have a filling lunch. Although, it burned a hole in my pocket, but it is certainly good to indulge in myself sometimes! I like the ambience of the restuarant. My Hosting Script for The National Day Event

I just managed to work out the draft hosting script for the National Day Event I am hosting. I am thankful for all the comments that I have received from my fellow RC members and friends. Just feel that sometimes, no matter whatever you do, some people, no matter for what reasons, will not be happy with the arrangements. I just wish to say that I am already trying my best to try to get this event going, considering the fact, that this is the 1st time I am organising an RC event. I have also tried my best, despite the fact that I would like to have a free hand to organise the event, just like what I usually do for the KTV events I have on Facebook, I accommodated to the requests that I should somehow follow the past years’ format to do the event. I know that I am not very familiar with how things are run at the RC, therefore in the end, my organising committee only made some changes to the event as we had a limited budget to work on. June Musings

 It has been a while since I last blogged. Since then, I am settling well into my role, although there were some incomings and outgoings, which are common in any workplace.   I managed to catch a last glimpse of Yishun Orto before it closed on 30 June. I would like Leonard, Wendy & Michael, as without them performing at the Happiest Hour Bar & Bistro, I guess I would never go to this place, as I had not so fond memories of a nearby place during my NS days.   I did not manage to get A* Mei or Jacky Cheung concert tickets this round. It could be a sign for me to build up my savings again after an unstable 3 years on the job front. I hope to stay on this job for a while despite its lack of transport amenities and lack of shelters for rain as it is not often that you can have great teams of colleagues and bosses with whom you can get along well. I guess having a boss who is differently abled helps me to settle in well as colleagues tend to be more understanding and caring.
