Birthday Party Photos

These are the photos taken at my birthday last night at the KTV session after the dinner at the KTV session @ Suntec City K-Box.

Firstly, I would like to thank my friends (Caifeng, Huiyu, Jason, Richard, Stella, SR, DJ & Krys) for taking their time off to attend my birthday. Special thanks to Huiyu, for picking the tab for me 1st. DJ & Krys for the watch. SR for the "Happy Birthday" book & an object which I don't know what it means. ( please explain to me.). DJ again, for the badge, but I can't figure out what it means. Shall call u!!! and of course, Jason, for looking after my brother.

Secondly, I would like to express my thanks to Caifeng, Huiyu, Jason & Stella for the handphone gift. I really appreciate it.

Thirdly, I would like to express my disappointment about the "aeroplane flyers". I feel so sad to say that it is the same person again. I think I am not the one that is only upset. I think Caifeng was too, as she was expecting Yishan to come as Kelvin was not there. Luckily, Stella was there to chat with her.

An apology to my friends as well here. Sorry for making you all run about from City Hall MRT then to Marina Square, instead of Raffles City, due to the rain.

A VERY BIG THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!!

I am sorry if I did not manage to look after everyone of you, or should I say shower my attention to everyone. :)

SR: Is ok. So long as u r nt in the category of "aeroplane fliers", like Yishan.

In fact, almost all of u were late, so its ok.

There are certain things which some Chinese are pretty particular with:- Happy and sad events can't clash together within 100 days to a year. If a relative or loved one were to pass away, the immediate family member can't attend a happy event, like wedding & housewarming. The Teochews treat their eldest male grandchild as their youngest son. If you are getting married & your friend who is getting married invites you to his wedding, u are not allowed to attend. The old people say happy events clash. The red packet can't be given twice for a happy event. Likewise for the condolence packet. One should not give shoes or lamp to a birthday boy or gal, as it is believed that you may bring the person to his deathbed. These are some interesting stuff to share, especially to some blog readers who are not living in a place filled with Chinese.

Movie Outing Plan With Fellow Blogger Friends

I guess Darling, SR & Rich want to watch "Memiors of A Geisha", especially after the ladies were so engrossed in the book at MPH during our last meeting. House Visiting & AVietnamese Girlfriend For Me??

I started my day early today at 8.30am. I was helping my mum with the flower decoration & slept at 1am last night. Had received CNY sms messages from my ex colleague, LS, Angela, Rebecca, Darling, Caifeng, Huixuan, Huiyu, Mac, Jaslyn, Joey, Candy , Kelvin, Rich & Mike. Thanks for all your well wishes, my friends. The 1st stop was at my grandma's place, which we were lucky to get a cab almost immediately after waiting for just a short while. In the ride, my mum & I were chatting casually about some issues that happened in S'pore recently, when we actually touched on the old cobbler cheating Vietnamese gals to be his bride. The cabby told us an incident that happened to his friend. His friend, a guy aged 39 had married a Thai gal aged 23 some years ago. Soon after, they became parents to a baby boy.
