A Greedy Man Just Deserts, We Hope !!!

I was quite shocked as I read The New Paper in the afternoon. Yesterday was the release of NKF Report by KPMG to the press. It did not surprise me that Mr Durai had so much perks & benefits as the CEO. What shocked me was the fact that only 10 cents went to the kidney patients for each charity dollar donated.
I am asking Mr Durai, Does your conscience prick you when you take our kind donations, which are meant for the kidney patients, as part of your backdated pay? You may feel that you have done a lot for the kidney patients & you are just getting what you think you deserve. But to me, I just want to say, "Isn't this part of your duties, or should say part of your job?" You are just a greedy man. I hope the authorities can find more 'interesting stories' before they send him to eat 'black bean rice'.

My cousin, Jolene had read my blog entry about my birthday, which made her start a blog immediately at her office. I shan't reveal where her office is as she works for a reputed firm.

Talking about my birthday, the birthday cake was a surprise from DJ, Krys , SR & BR. I am very very touched by their gesture. They really move me to tears as DJ, SR & Krys did not actually know me long enough and to think that they actually went to buy the cake when K-Box did not give us the cake package. Thanks for the surprise. I really am touched. I will make the effort to remember your birthdays. Hehe:)

I joined the Facebook Foodies Club for dinner at Bacchus last night. Yesterday was with a smaller group of people with 11 people. It meant that I had a chance to interact with people and enjoy good food at the same time. I certainly had a good time knowing Deborah, Rene, Wenna, Chris & Catherine. The good part was having my singing buddy, Jonathan around as well, making me able to enjoy the dinner and making friends with relative ease. I must say I enjoyed the food, that I ordered. I ordered the Flumuken,Bawhrust susages and tiramisu cake. You must be thinking that why I ordered so much food. I must say I was very hungry as I didn’t have a filling lunch. Although, it burned a hole in my pocket, but it is certainly good to indulge in myself sometimes! I like the ambience of the restuarant. My Hosting Script for The National Day Event

I just managed to work out the draft hosting script for the National Day Event I am hosting. I am thankful for all the comments that I have received from my fellow RC members and friends. Just feel that sometimes, no matter whatever you do, some people, no matter for what reasons, will not be happy with the arrangements. I just wish to say that I am already trying my best to try to get this event going, considering the fact, that this is the 1st time I am organising an RC event. I have also tried my best, despite the fact that I would like to have a free hand to organise the event, just like what I usually do for the KTV events I have on Facebook, I accommodated to the requests that I should somehow follow the past years’ format to do the event. I know that I am not very familiar with how things are run at the RC, therefore in the end, my organising committee only made some changes to the event as we had a limited budget to work on. June Musings

 It has been a while since I last blogged. Since then, I am settling well into my role, although there were some incomings and outgoings, which are common in any workplace.   I managed to catch a last glimpse of Yishun Orto before it closed on 30 June. I would like Leonard, Wendy & Michael, as without them performing at the Happiest Hour Bar & Bistro, I guess I would never go to this place, as I had not so fond memories of a nearby place during my NS days.   I did not manage to get A* Mei or Jacky Cheung concert tickets this round. It could be a sign for me to build up my savings again after an unstable 3 years on the job front. I hope to stay on this job for a while despite its lack of transport amenities and lack of shelters for rain as it is not often that you can have great teams of colleagues and bosses with whom you can get along well. I guess having a boss who is differently abled helps me to settle in well as colleagues tend to be more understanding and caring.
