Early Early Day

Today was the start of my early early day. I have decided to follow the advice of Jason & Darling & decided not to work so hard.

Anyway I am still coughing on & off, despite visiting the doc twice in the past week, & was on MC for 2 days in the past week. I couldn't take too much MC as there was just too much work, & had to juggle with 2 Sundays of full day classes. The thought of facing the computer at work tomorrow and my tax lecturer dampens my mood.

Went to see the doc again. This time, Dr Tan gave me a new cough mixture to try. I certainly hope it works this round. The doc nowadays charge very very ex nowadays. I can't imagine the medicine actually cost $21!!!!

Just heard a piece of shocking news from one of my long-time net friend. She has been pregrant for about 3 months with her ex-boyfriend's child. She is planning to abort it. As you guys may know, there is a risk if abortion is carried out around 3 months. I hope her abortion will be fine.

She say she can't remember when & how it become like tt. I told her, if gt birth control, there will be definite protection, even though not 100%.

Darling, I agree totally. It is something that shld be done aft marriage & not b4. That's y I am not putting ,yself in that position yet.

Accidents can happen no matter how u try to avoid.

I know u trying to look 4 a job. I am still asking ard 4 u. :) Take care!!

If u can, u settle the r/s problem 1st. Dun let it hang there, then u can start Year of Dog afresh.

Abortion is not encouraged after 2 months.. Hope your friend survives.. My friend became suicidal after aborting the baby... Still on long term medication and counselling now...

I joined the Facebook Foodies Club for dinner at Bacchus last night. Yesterday was with a smaller group of people with 11 people. It meant that I had a chance to interact with people and enjoy good food at the same time. I certainly had a good time knowing Deborah, Rene, Wenna, Chris & Catherine. The good part was having my singing buddy, Jonathan around as well, making me able to enjoy the dinner and making friends with relative ease. I must say I enjoyed the food, that I ordered. I ordered the Flumuken,Bawhrust susages and tiramisu cake. You must be thinking that why I ordered so much food. I must say I was very hungry as I didn’t have a filling lunch. Although, it burned a hole in my pocket, but it is certainly good to indulge in myself sometimes! I like the ambience of the restuarant. My Hosting Script for The National Day Event

I just managed to work out the draft hosting script for the National Day Event I am hosting. I am thankful for all the comments that I have received from my fellow RC members and friends. Just feel that sometimes, no matter whatever you do, some people, no matter for what reasons, will not be happy with the arrangements. I just wish to say that I am already trying my best to try to get this event going, considering the fact, that this is the 1st time I am organising an RC event. I have also tried my best, despite the fact that I would like to have a free hand to organise the event, just like what I usually do for the KTV events I have on Facebook, I accommodated to the requests that I should somehow follow the past years’ format to do the event. I know that I am not very familiar with how things are run at the RC, therefore in the end, my organising committee only made some changes to the event as we had a limited budget to work on. June Musings

 It has been a while since I last blogged. Since then, I am settling well into my role, although there were some incomings and outgoings, which are common in any workplace.   I managed to catch a last glimpse of Yishun Orto before it closed on 30 June. I would like Leonard, Wendy & Michael, as without them performing at the Happiest Hour Bar & Bistro, I guess I would never go to this place, as I had not so fond memories of a nearby place during my NS days.   I did not manage to get A* Mei or Jacky Cheung concert tickets this round. It could be a sign for me to build up my savings again after an unstable 3 years on the job front. I hope to stay on this job for a while despite its lack of transport amenities and lack of shelters for rain as it is not often that you can have great teams of colleagues and bosses with whom you can get along well. I guess having a boss who is differently abled helps me to settle in well as colleagues tend to be more understanding and caring.
