Long Overdue Pics - Thanks to The New Bluetooth !

Finally managed to upload the pics from my Samsung hp to here, but not by using the USB cable that I bought from Samsung shop yesterday, but by the cheap & good bluetooth device recommended by my ex colleague, Roy. Thanks for recommending your supplier, David & John to me & the nice price for the device.

I think Samsung needs to do something about their product QC in their accessories dept. The price was very steep at $58. The Bluetooth cost $29. If a $29 device can work better than a $58 USB cable, I am all for that CHEAPER ONE!!! Sorry, Darling, if I scared you with my fiery temper when testing the product yesterday.

Today, work didn't flow as smoothly as I wanted to be, as my boss suddenly wanted me to redo the IRAS data verification again, with help from info from the secretarial files. My PC monitor was changing colour frequently ( I mean the office one. I do not mind paying myself to get a new one,it will be for the good of my eyesight. ), the PC floppy drive intermittenly can't read & my time sheet disk suddenly can't read. It seems like all bad things must happen together

As for the movie, Memoirs of A Geisha, SR & Jason can't make it. SR said that she needs to go back to school on Sat, while Jason, I guess is CNY shopping.

Sorry lor, Digi cam is not mine. The stupid brand I had out of order.

Waiting 4 dad 2 get a new 1. Mum said he's interested in photo taking so he shld get 1, not me.

I joined the Facebook Foodies Club for dinner at Bacchus last night. Yesterday was with a smaller group of people with 11 people. It meant that I had a chance to interact with people and enjoy good food at the same time. I certainly had a good time knowing Deborah, Rene, Wenna, Chris & Catherine. The good part was having my singing buddy, Jonathan around as well, making me able to enjoy the dinner and making friends with relative ease. I must say I enjoyed the food, that I ordered. I ordered the Flumuken,Bawhrust susages and tiramisu cake. You must be thinking that why I ordered so much food. I must say I was very hungry as I didn’t have a filling lunch. Although, it burned a hole in my pocket, but it is certainly good to indulge in myself sometimes! I like the ambience of the restuarant. My Hosting Script for The National Day Event

I just managed to work out the draft hosting script for the National Day Event I am hosting. I am thankful for all the comments that I have received from my fellow RC members and friends. Just feel that sometimes, no matter whatever you do, some people, no matter for what reasons, will not be happy with the arrangements. I just wish to say that I am already trying my best to try to get this event going, considering the fact, that this is the 1st time I am organising an RC event. I have also tried my best, despite the fact that I would like to have a free hand to organise the event, just like what I usually do for the KTV events I have on Facebook, I accommodated to the requests that I should somehow follow the past years’ format to do the event. I know that I am not very familiar with how things are run at the RC, therefore in the end, my organising committee only made some changes to the event as we had a limited budget to work on. June Musings

 It has been a while since I last blogged. Since then, I am settling well into my role, although there were some incomings and outgoings, which are common in any workplace.   I managed to catch a last glimpse of Yishun Orto before it closed on 30 June. I would like Leonard, Wendy & Michael, as without them performing at the Happiest Hour Bar & Bistro, I guess I would never go to this place, as I had not so fond memories of a nearby place during my NS days.   I did not manage to get A* Mei or Jacky Cheung concert tickets this round. It could be a sign for me to build up my savings again after an unstable 3 years on the job front. I hope to stay on this job for a while despite its lack of transport amenities and lack of shelters for rain as it is not often that you can have great teams of colleagues and bosses with whom you can get along well. I guess having a boss who is differently abled helps me to settle in well as colleagues tend to be more understanding and caring.
