Spring Cleaning

I just finished the Spring Cleaning of my bedroom, which I share with my brother & the guest room, which I called it now as it has not been rented out. My brother has been sleeping in that room since 3 months back.

I was the only one doing the spring cleaning as my parents & he are working. Clearing the 2 rooms was very tiring. I can't imagine that my brother kept his two tables like a "nutty professor". His tables were cluttered with books, stationery & rubbish all over the place. I got a shock of my life when I saw 8 packs of rubbish when I actually carried down the flight of stairs at my place. I plan to show my mum what this "nutty professor" brother of mine has been doing to his table.

I wanted to clean my parents' room too, but after carrying the rubbish & changing 7 pails of water, my energy level is already very low. How to conquer the master bedroom? I think it will be another nightmare if I start. Looks like have to do it tomorrow, when there are more guys around. My dad & brother are off tomorrow.

I read thru Darling's blog just before I started my Spring Cleaning. I find it hard to imagine that her ex-bf has so many many bad habits, besides not being attentive enough & I would say a MCP. Just wonder how he survived in his 33 years? Didn't his friends & family alert him on the points? I feel that the guy should do some soul searching before another person leaves him.

My friend, you made the right choice to leave him. I am definitely sure that you can find someone with good manners, a good heart & not a mama's boy.

I joined the Facebook Foodies Club for dinner at Bacchus last night. Yesterday was with a smaller group of people with 11 people. It meant that I had a chance to interact with people and enjoy good food at the same time. I certainly had a good time knowing Deborah, Rene, Wenna, Chris & Catherine. The good part was having my singing buddy, Jonathan around as well, making me able to enjoy the dinner and making friends with relative ease. I must say I enjoyed the food, that I ordered. I ordered the Flumuken,Bawhrust susages and tiramisu cake. You must be thinking that why I ordered so much food. I must say I was very hungry as I didn’t have a filling lunch. Although, it burned a hole in my pocket, but it is certainly good to indulge in myself sometimes! I like the ambience of the restuarant. My Hosting Script for The National Day Event

I just managed to work out the draft hosting script for the National Day Event I am hosting. I am thankful for all the comments that I have received from my fellow RC members and friends. Just feel that sometimes, no matter whatever you do, some people, no matter for what reasons, will not be happy with the arrangements. I just wish to say that I am already trying my best to try to get this event going, considering the fact, that this is the 1st time I am organising an RC event. I have also tried my best, despite the fact that I would like to have a free hand to organise the event, just like what I usually do for the KTV events I have on Facebook, I accommodated to the requests that I should somehow follow the past years’ format to do the event. I know that I am not very familiar with how things are run at the RC, therefore in the end, my organising committee only made some changes to the event as we had a limited budget to work on. June Musings

 It has been a while since I last blogged. Since then, I am settling well into my role, although there were some incomings and outgoings, which are common in any workplace.   I managed to catch a last glimpse of Yishun Orto before it closed on 30 June. I would like Leonard, Wendy & Michael, as without them performing at the Happiest Hour Bar & Bistro, I guess I would never go to this place, as I had not so fond memories of a nearby place during my NS days.   I did not manage to get A* Mei or Jacky Cheung concert tickets this round. It could be a sign for me to build up my savings again after an unstable 3 years on the job front. I hope to stay on this job for a while despite its lack of transport amenities and lack of shelters for rain as it is not often that you can have great teams of colleagues and bosses with whom you can get along well. I guess having a boss who is differently abled helps me to settle in well as colleagues tend to be more understanding and caring.
