Dinner @ Rice Table With Jason & Huiyu

Was out with Jason & Huiyu last night to this resturant that I recommended previously on my blog. The Rice Table Buffet Resturant at Suntec City Branch.

We had a good time there, save for the moment that a bowl slipped out of our tray as I was fishing for my food. The bowl broke and flew out of the resturant. We were seated near the curtain seat. Fortunately, there was no one outside, otherwise the consequences would be hard to imagine.

Was eating and chatting happily about the planned Kukop trip in Aug.I had spoken to Darling via MSN before I met up with Jason & Huiyu. Darling won't be joining us for the trip. Perhaps, she is really busy? I will be putting up the list of people who should be going after my papers on 14 June. Should I forget, please remind me?

During the meal, got a unwelcome call from the AF, who said that I should be at home studying instead of hanging out with my friends. She was saying that she might be able to help me with my ACCA. I felt like telling her, you are not my mum, so please don't lecture me like you think you are. Besides you have passed your ACCA, I also have friends and relatives who have passed it as well. I would rather ask them than to ask you if I need help.

After being chased out by the waiter, we wanted to watch Da Vinci Code, but the show was quite late, so we went to Starbucks for a coffee break instead. Huiyu asked me not to worry so much about my ACCA as she said it is not easy.

After the coffee and long chat, we headed home.

Ya so crowded. Lucky I din take MRT there, I took bus there.
I did finish b4 I was chased out.
It was so full, the meal.

no manners! normally they dun take anymore orders half hour before closing, then jsut wait for the customers to finish n leave... can complain manz...

I bring u gals to a better service resturant at Suntec City after my papers.

The resturant start with O____ D____. I think the service is better & the waitress are better looking.

I joined the Facebook Foodies Club for dinner at Bacchus last night. Yesterday was with a smaller group of people with 11 people. It meant that I had a chance to interact with people and enjoy good food at the same time. I certainly had a good time knowing Deborah, Rene, Wenna, Chris & Catherine. The good part was having my singing buddy, Jonathan around as well, making me able to enjoy the dinner and making friends with relative ease. I must say I enjoyed the food, that I ordered. I ordered the Flumuken,Bawhrust susages and tiramisu cake. You must be thinking that why I ordered so much food. I must say I was very hungry as I didn’t have a filling lunch. Although, it burned a hole in my pocket, but it is certainly good to indulge in myself sometimes! I like the ambience of the restuarant. My Hosting Script for The National Day Event

I just managed to work out the draft hosting script for the National Day Event I am hosting. I am thankful for all the comments that I have received from my fellow RC members and friends. Just feel that sometimes, no matter whatever you do, some people, no matter for what reasons, will not be happy with the arrangements. I just wish to say that I am already trying my best to try to get this event going, considering the fact, that this is the 1st time I am organising an RC event. I have also tried my best, despite the fact that I would like to have a free hand to organise the event, just like what I usually do for the KTV events I have on Facebook, I accommodated to the requests that I should somehow follow the past years’ format to do the event. I know that I am not very familiar with how things are run at the RC, therefore in the end, my organising committee only made some changes to the event as we had a limited budget to work on. June Musings

 It has been a while since I last blogged. Since then, I am settling well into my role, although there were some incomings and outgoings, which are common in any workplace.   I managed to catch a last glimpse of Yishun Orto before it closed on 30 June. I would like Leonard, Wendy & Michael, as without them performing at the Happiest Hour Bar & Bistro, I guess I would never go to this place, as I had not so fond memories of a nearby place during my NS days.   I did not manage to get A* Mei or Jacky Cheung concert tickets this round. It could be a sign for me to build up my savings again after an unstable 3 years on the job front. I hope to stay on this job for a while despite its lack of transport amenities and lack of shelters for rain as it is not often that you can have great teams of colleagues and bosses with whom you can get along well. I guess having a boss who is differently abled helps me to settle in well as colleagues tend to be more understanding and caring.
