Surprising Friday & Eventful Saturday

Was not surprised when I heard from K during our farewell treat for her that the bitch actually told her to pass her audit jobs over to P, a new gal taking over from her. K was smart in saying that LB did not ask her to pass to P any audit jobs, as her title is Senior Accounts Assistant & not cum Audit Assistant. Feel that the bitch was trying to abuse her authority again, acting like LB when she is not even one. She still have the cheek to leave on the dot when this is the peak period and LB had just given our salary increment. Felt that she didn't deserve it after all. She can tell LB that her child has ear infection, but she is always nasty to colleagues, backstabbing us whenever she feel that we crossed the line. Just feel that she doesn't deserve any sympathy.
Received news from a client that she plans to terminate our professional services. She told me that the past two auditors sent to her are pretty unprofessional & rude in their services. The client did mention the people's names as well & I was not surprised. I have tried unsuccessfully to get this client to retain us. I wonder how my boss will react if I were to break the news to him when he is back from his holiday. Let's hope my boss can talk her out of it, otherwise it is another substantial amount of fees lost.
Met up with Jason at J8 for dinner at Sakae Sushi. Was held up by some last minute work, so was late for the appointment. Had a good time chatting & catching up at the resturant & Coffee Bean after that. Left for home at close to 11pm.

The planned KTV session at Marina Square nearly was cancelled, due to AF could not make it at the last minute, but Caifeng was able to join us as her appointment was cancelled. I also managed to rope in Jason as well, as he wanted to join me to get Caifeng's birthday present later.
Marina Square KBox is the latest KTV of the famous KBox chain, complete with a new system for selection of songs. But the bad experience that I had today is going to make me blacklist the branch as well, after Cinelesiure & Suntec City.
We had requested to add in an additional hour of singing before our final hour. The staff told us over the phone that we could have that, provided that we ordered additional drinks. At the end of the final hour, before extension, the same staff came to us and told us that our hour had ended. J & I were quite pissed, and told him that we have already told him in the second hour that we planned to extend for another hour. We were agreeable to the additional drinks surcharge. However, there was no one who came to us and take our drink order. To show our displeasure, J walked out of the room to get a smoke and a toilet break, as he was the one who used the credit card to pay for the bill. He made the poor staff run 3 times before they can get his signature to pay the bill. J & I also demanded to see the manager. Even though the staff was a gal, we couldn't care less as it was their fault. Soon, the supervisor came, and tried to pacify us. At first, J & I were not satisfied with his explaination, & J wanted to write a complaint about the poor service. It was not until when the supervisor, sensing our persistence to pursue the matter, as I added fuel to fire that during my last visit to the Suntec Branch that we were not given the UOB Card discount, despite the fact that we asked which credit card was eligible for discount before we made the payment. In the end, he gave us an additional 3 hrs to sing as a complimentary gesture, but the drinks are to be paid for. I roped in my brother to join us, while AF came by to join us for the complimentary session.
I just wonder what is the purpose of the Government's implementation of Gems when there are still people in the service line who provide such poor service to customers.
Went to Creative later to get Caifeng's birthday present. She wanted an MP3 player. We decided to let her choose the colour and model that she want. She was quite surprised that Jason, Huiyu, Stella & I had such a high budget for her. She wanted to get a 1GB player, but after Jason's detailed explaination, she settled for the 2GB player instead, where she topped up about $50 for the stick on and the player.
Went to Dian Xiao Er for dinner. Yvonne & AF were there to chop seats for us and called the set dinner for us. I must say the 6 person set dinner was not bad, with all the dishes were very tasty and it had a desert after that. Considering the price that we paid for each of us, it was cheap and good for a 6 course meal. During the course of the meal, Jason & Caifeng were discussing about their joint birthday dinner to be held in around mid-Aug. Besides the usual people that will be attending, I think Jason has the intention of calling Richard & Rebecca. Further details are to be confirmed by the birthday boy & gal. J has also told me what he wanted for his birthday. He said we need not pay in full for the requested gift, just give him our indivdual contribution for his gift and he will top up the rest of his present on his own.
