Bus Fare Cheats

I was on this feeder service bus Service 315 today when the bus captain actually stopped the bus and got out of his seat to get to the back of the bus to catch 2 school students who did not pay their fare after telling him that they were not paying their fare as they had no money to pay.

Perhaps some of you did not realise that Singapore has imposed a penalty system for people who misuse concession cards, underpay their fares or didn't pay their fares. I was just shocked by the attitudes of these students about how abusive and vulgar these students are when they were caught. The students actually shouted at the bus captain. What shocked me was that they were gals and not guys and they really shocked me with their coarse language.

I wonder if there is something wrong with our education system?

this kind of things happens in US. so no big deal. doesn't mean the more education they have. they'll know how to be have better. people are people...they sure suck

House Visiting & AVietnamese Girlfriend For Me??

I started my day early today at 8.30am. I was helping my mum with the flower decoration & slept at 1am last night. Had received CNY sms messages from my ex colleague, LS, Angela, Rebecca, Darling, Caifeng, Huixuan, Huiyu, Mac, Jaslyn, Joey, Candy , Kelvin, Rich & Mike. Thanks for all your well wishes, my friends. There are certain things which some Chinese are pretty particular with:- Happy and sad events can't clash together within 100 days to a year. If a relative or loved one were to pass away, the immediate family member can't attend a happy event, like wedding & housewarming. The Teochews treat their eldest male grandchild as their youngest son. If you are getting married & your friend who is getting married invites you to his wedding, u are not allowed to attend. The old people say happy events clash. The red packet can't be given twice for a happy event. Likewise for the condolence packet. One should not give shoes or lamp to a birthday boy or gal, as it is believed that you may bring the person to his deathbed. These are some interesting stuff to share, especially to some blog readers who are not living in a place filled with Chinese.
