Appeal for Eye Witnesses

I was asked to put this appeal here and circulate via e-mail about this by fellow blogger friend, Darling, who met with a minor accident with her husband on Sunday, 17 Aug 2008. The fortunate thing is they are all safe.

Here is a short write up which I got from her blog. I did some edits as it was not in proper sentences.

Our car was at the junction of Moonstone Lane at 1pm.
It is red light and suddenly, the 3rd lane dash out this black car and our car gently hit his side door but our bumper was not in good shape.The accident driver came down & apologise & wants Mr Tan to claim from him, but that driver changed his story later by saying that my friend's hubby beat the red light first.

Therefore, she is appealing for i am calling for eye witness. the cars that are in the 1st & 2nd lane at Moonstone Lane junction hitting PIE Jurong !!!!!! on 17 Aug 2008 at about 1pm to come forward to tell the traffic police what they actually saw that day.

I would appreciate my fellow readers to forward this appeal to your friends. I just hope the 2 drivers will come forward. Justice must be done.

i wrote my opinion on her cbox. whether she wants to take my advice is another story. is it a requirement in SG to have 2 witness??

eyewitness not always right. it should be the insurance company that deal with this.

how can justice be served when it's based on eyewitness???? this is not a murder crime

I joined the Facebook Foodies Club for dinner at Bacchus last night. Yesterday was with a smaller group of people with 11 people. It meant that I had a chance to interact with people and enjoy good food at the same time. I certainly had a good time knowing Deborah, Rene, Wenna, Chris & Catherine. The good part was having my singing buddy, Jonathan around as well, making me able to enjoy the dinner and making friends with relative ease. I must say I enjoyed the food, that I ordered. I ordered the Flumuken,Bawhrust susages and tiramisu cake. You must be thinking that why I ordered so much food. I must say I was very hungry as I didn’t have a filling lunch. Although, it burned a hole in my pocket, but it is certainly good to indulge in myself sometimes! I like the ambience of the restuarant. My Hosting Script for The National Day Event

I just managed to work out the draft hosting script for the National Day Event I am hosting. I am thankful for all the comments that I have received from my fellow RC members and friends. Just feel that sometimes, no matter whatever you do, some people, no matter for what reasons, will not be happy with the arrangements. I just wish to say that I am already trying my best to try to get this event going, considering the fact, that this is the 1st time I am organising an RC event. I have also tried my best, despite the fact that I would like to have a free hand to organise the event, just like what I usually do for the KTV events I have on Facebook, I accommodated to the requests that I should somehow follow the past years’ format to do the event. I know that I am not very familiar with how things are run at the RC, therefore in the end, my organising committee only made some changes to the event as we had a limited budget to work on. June Musings

 It has been a while since I last blogged. Since then, I am settling well into my role, although there were some incomings and outgoings, which are common in any workplace.   I managed to catch a last glimpse of Yishun Orto before it closed on 30 June. I would like Leonard, Wendy & Michael, as without them performing at the Happiest Hour Bar & Bistro, I guess I would never go to this place, as I had not so fond memories of a nearby place during my NS days.   I did not manage to get A* Mei or Jacky Cheung concert tickets this round. It could be a sign for me to build up my savings again after an unstable 3 years on the job front. I hope to stay on this job for a while despite its lack of transport amenities and lack of shelters for rain as it is not often that you can have great teams of colleagues and bosses with whom you can get along well. I guess having a boss who is differently abled helps me to settle in well as colleagues tend to be more understanding and caring.
