I have been listening to YES 933 FM radio drama, 215 的约定 for about the past 5 weeks. I didn't know that a radio drama can be so captivating. It certainly had me glued to my MP3 player at 7.30pm every evening, as I was on the bus on my way home.

The story, starring the entire crew of YES 933FM DJs was very good. I personally like the roles of Peifen & Jiahui in their roles as Yue Ling and Yinzhen recently. Weibin did a good job in her protrayal as a Aids stricken songwriter.

Hopefully the station will put the drama online soon, or release it as a CD.

The song you are listening is the title track of the drama.

Movie Outing Plan With Fellow Blogger Friends

I guess Darling, SR & Rich want to watch "Memiors of A Geisha", especially after the ladies were so engrossed in the book at MPH during our last meeting. There are certain things which some Chinese are pretty particular with:- Happy and sad events can't clash together within 100 days to a year. If a relative or loved one were to pass away, the immediate family member can't attend a happy event, like wedding & housewarming. The Teochews treat their eldest male grandchild as their youngest son. If you are getting married & your friend who is getting married invites you to his wedding, u are not allowed to attend. The old people say happy events clash. The red packet can't be given twice for a happy event. Likewise for the condolence packet. One should not give shoes or lamp to a birthday boy or gal, as it is believed that you may bring the person to his deathbed. These are some interesting stuff to share, especially to some blog readers who are not living in a place filled with Chinese.
