Visiting Saturday

I was awoken by my mum chanting in my bedroom today. Anyway, I was still troubled by what she said to me last night, so I decided to find a person to talk to. I managed to find a person to talk to. A long time friend. Let’s call this friend, my blog checker, since she is always the one who helps me to monitor what I post on my blog and what comments I am getting on my blog. I feel so sorry to wake her up so early with my sms and give her precious weekend time to me to listen to my troubles.

I took a cab to her place. She asked me to be at her place by 11am, but I was there early instead as I know she had to go out at about 2pm. After listening to my troubles, she gave me some advice and solutions to my problems which I felt that they were pretty good. I guess I will be implementing the recommended solutions by her. I must say this friend of mine really has an analytical mind, and she really treats me like a brother. She said, in order not to be hurt any further by some people, I have to stand up and take action.

Blog checker felt that my mum was anxious about me as she didn’t want some of my friendships that I am having now to go towards the downward sprial that I was expriencing 3 years ago. I shall not go into details what actually happen as I prefer not to dwell on the past.

Thanks blog checker for the advice and recommendations. Till we meet again for the CNY visit to my place.

I joined the Facebook Foodies Club for dinner at Bacchus last night. Yesterday was with a smaller group of people with 11 people. It meant that I had a chance to interact with people and enjoy good food at the same time. I certainly had a good time knowing Deborah, Rene, Wenna, Chris & Catherine. The good part was having my singing buddy, Jonathan around as well, making me able to enjoy the dinner and making friends with relative ease. I must say I enjoyed the food, that I ordered. I ordered the Flumuken,Bawhrust susages and tiramisu cake. You must be thinking that why I ordered so much food. I must say I was very hungry as I didn’t have a filling lunch. Although, it burned a hole in my pocket, but it is certainly good to indulge in myself sometimes! I like the ambience of the restuarant. My Hosting Script for The National Day Event

I just managed to work out the draft hosting script for the National Day Event I am hosting. I am thankful for all the comments that I have received from my fellow RC members and friends. Just feel that sometimes, no matter whatever you do, some people, no matter for what reasons, will not be happy with the arrangements. I just wish to say that I am already trying my best to try to get this event going, considering the fact, that this is the 1st time I am organising an RC event. I have also tried my best, despite the fact that I would like to have a free hand to organise the event, just like what I usually do for the KTV events I have on Facebook, I accommodated to the requests that I should somehow follow the past years’ format to do the event. I know that I am not very familiar with how things are run at the RC, therefore in the end, my organising committee only made some changes to the event as we had a limited budget to work on. June Musings

 It has been a while since I last blogged. Since then, I am settling well into my role, although there were some incomings and outgoings, which are common in any workplace.   I managed to catch a last glimpse of Yishun Orto before it closed on 30 June. I would like Leonard, Wendy & Michael, as without them performing at the Happiest Hour Bar & Bistro, I guess I would never go to this place, as I had not so fond memories of a nearby place during my NS days.   I did not manage to get A* Mei or Jacky Cheung concert tickets this round. It could be a sign for me to build up my savings again after an unstable 3 years on the job front. I hope to stay on this job for a while despite its lack of transport amenities and lack of shelters for rain as it is not often that you can have great teams of colleagues and bosses with whom you can get along well. I guess having a boss who is differently abled helps me to settle in well as colleagues tend to be more understanding and caring.
